57-70 days supposedly my cat had hers within a month in a half its hard to tell...feel her belly if u feel kittens r moving around in her belly they are coming soon so keep and eye out and keep her indoors.

The least common breed of cat is actually referred to as as sphinx. It is a hairless cat and are very sweet, but in my friend Katie's opinion kind of gross. These cats are referred to in old Egyptian tales involving mummies, tombs, etc.

It can be bred by two sphinxes, by an ordinary cat and sphinx, or in rare cases by two regular cats!

If anyone has info on how sphinxes actually came to be, please edit my answer.

no they dont die at birth. They may have shorter lives than regular cats. The reason of male calicos appearing is because there was something wrong in the sex cell of the parent. Most likely an extra chromosome or a mutated one

for a girl, i would name my calico cat Cally. For a boy, i would name him Hunter.

i used to hav a calico cat named tootse we called her tootse tootsie tootsieroll tootsiepop etc. we had another named tink we called her tink tinker tinkertoy tinkertruck etc.

Tortoiseshell cats are bred from three combinations: A tortoiseshell mother with any other coloured father; an orange mother with a father that is any colour except orange; or a mother that is any colour except orange with an orange father.

There is no such thing as a male calico cat and a male cats behind would be sticking out and a girls behind wouldn't have anything sticking out. --- Calico males are extremely rare, so it is safe to assume your calicoes are all female.

Cats are physically capable of reproduction as early as four or five months. However, a male cat's sperm count at this age will be much lower than that of an older cat. Personally I would choose an older stud because it is difficult to know for sure whether a kitten would make good breeding stock or not. If you intend to breed your female cat rather than spaying her, she should be kept separate from males from about five months of age. It's not a good idea to breed a very young cat as the chances of complications during labour and delivery are much higher. Her pelvis is smaller than an older queen's. Older cats often make better first-time mothers.

Good names for a female Scottish Fold include "Merida," "Mrs. Fluffington," "Princess Fluffy," "Blue Bell," and "Lassie." Of course, any name that is fitting and fun could be applied to the Scottish Fold.
