to become a sage you have to go to gittingham palace. turn right and then keep going north until you reach the a staircase. go up it. you'll see a bookcase. read it and you've got the sage quest.

All Grotto locations are completely randomised, no one can pinpoint the location through name alone. However the places where the grottoes can be are chosen from amongst 100 or so spots, you can find maps online which show every spot, all you have to do is match your map up and find out where it is.

To get Aquila,you have to beat King Godwyn first,then go back to Angel Falls and go to the statue,there you will see Aquila.Talk to him then he will join your party.He will be Warrior level 88 and he will have alot of skill points to allcote.To get Patty on your team,you need to do a quest.I can't tell you how to do this quest though because I have not got there myself.You should go to Dragon quest wiki cause it will tell you how to do this quest.Patty will be a Theif level 28 with some skill points to allocate.For Sellma,you also have to do a quest and I amm not sure how to do this quest.When you do get her,she will be Priest level 1.

Grotto maps are randomly named and placed, no one can ever tell you where the grotto is by just name alone.

It depends on your fighting style- Armamentalists mainly revolve on boosting your stats- it`s Coup de grace amplifies EXP. The spells are all buffs, and it`s special abillities are ATK and DEF boosting. It`s mainly for people who want lots of buffs. Makes a good party member, but make it CPU controlled.

Go to fert isle and you'll find him in a cave. He doesn't respawn so be careful.

It is only obtainable through a chain of quests from DQVC. You need to talk to Stella and beat 3 quests: Hail To the Queen (she sees herself as the Queen of the Starflight), Liscensed to Drive, and Flaptricide. There is a 4th one, but I forget what it is- after that, the room will open and you will fight the Tyrannasaura Wrecks. It`s pretty hard- consider it Malroth Lvl. 1.
