There are a few step:
1) you MUST be a human female noble
2) After visiting goldanna, take the step to harden him. Say something like 'people are out for themselves, you need to learn that'. Then back at camp agree with what you said.
3) refuse to help anora before the landsmeet ( i suggest getting all the nobles on your side, check the wiki for how to do this)
4) you need persausion to select the option, 'alistair will be king, and i shall rule beside him' But do select this one

Are you referring to dragon's blood resin? if so, dragon's blood resin is a bright, red color and is expelled by a tree native to spain; this rosin is known for it's lovely spicy aroma but it is No herb! and it looks like a ruby. Do not take it internally; it is known to make you severely constipated.)
In a sense, yes. Dragon's souls are made entirely of fire, which flows through their bodies like blood. (Their "heart" is actually at their fire source in their belly, as such.) For some odd reason, dragons vibrate at an extremely high speed, almost too fast for even people like me who have trained their eyes to see them (as I am able to manipulate dragon's souls into what serves as their bodies I have to be able to see them on a daily basis) though some possess the ability to slow their vibration to the point where they are seen by people. I would assume that they learned to never have their vibration down to our sight level after what we did to them in the Middle Ages. The dragon stereotype is wrong...and they are still here, watching over us like they used to as we download applications on our phones, most people never seeing them...
Please note: Just because it is hard to see them doesn't mean that you should go dragon-hunting in your neighborhood, assuming that they might dwell close to humans. Just because we can't see them doesn't mean that a wing couldn't get torn on a building or a tail hits a power line...THEN we would know their exact location, people would embrace the stereotype, and we would wipe out the final survivors of the Generations of dragons. So, they tend to seclude themselves far away for the most part...but we're talking about beings capable of interdimensional travel, so that's not to say that they can't see us from far away. Cosmic dragons are the best at this, and back when we weren't such a threat to them, the dragons would gather and watch us. Sometimes they appear in times when they wish to teach us, one appeared to my father and taught him how to fish. One appeared to me (he was trapped in a subdimension at the time) and I let his life continue by giving him a body to live in. Yes, dragons are still here. They just vibrate really fast.

What is lindworm dragons diet?
" Bactrian camels are hnted all across the Asian steppes, often by lindworms working in pairs. There have been a number of reports of wild horses also being taken, though thi is unlikely since the lindworm primarily hunts camels, presumably for the water that is said to be stored in their humps - a horse would be considered exceedingly dry by comparison. Snakes are also a favoured 'snack' between meals." - Ernest Drake, 'Dragonology, Field Guide to Dragons'
Why do they make dragons roar?
Traditionally speaking, a dragon is a hybrid between a lizard, a fish, a lion, and some sparkly pizzazz that makes it breathe fire. I would imagine that the expression of a dragon roaring comes from the fact the Dragon is supposed to be part lion.

How do dragons get fire in them?
Dragon fire does not exist inside of dragons but is produced when fire dragons expel a flammable aerosol. The flammable fluid is stored from a modified lung organ, made into an aerosol through forcible mixing with air from the other lungs in the pharynx, ignited by heavy metal plates in the fore-throat and achieves full combustion only when it is clear of the dragon proper.
