What should you wear to an interview at Hot Topic?
If you want to get hired at Hollister, the one thing you don't wanna do is wear black. Try along the lines of navy blue or white. We like it when our employees wear Khaki shorts, especially in the summer time. Remember that Hollister's style is very simple and laid back. If you're a girl you would want to wear a white blouse with khaki shorts and flip flops. For boy's, you would want to wear a navy blue blue polo shirt or a red flannel (Good for this season especially), flip flops and/or TOMS and Shorts. Wear your hair natural and for boys we like clean cuts when it comes to hair, unless it is long (Surfer like). Mohawks are not allowed. On another note make sure you don't have any piercings visible, unless they are studs. If you're going to wear jeans make sure that you can't tell where you got them from, (Stitching's on the pockets) you don't wanna advertise Guess jeans at Hollister. Nail Polish inst allowed unless its clear coated or unless it's a French Manicure. Also, Try your best to hide any tattoos. We'd prefer if you wore our brand of clothing, but, if you aren't able to, wear something that would look like something a Hollister model would wear. Do this and you'd probably get a call 30 mins after the interview saying you got hired. Goodluck
What should you wear to an interview for a job as a checkout girl in a supermarket?
I think slacks (like black or khaki pants) and nice button-up shirt would look nice. You could wear nice sandals (not flip-flops) or shoes, and a belt if the slacks have belt loops. I don't think you'd need to wear anything dressier than that. Make sure you don't wear anything too tight or revealing! Good luck!

How long should you grill a Skirt Steak?
First, give it an hour so that the steak has ample time to absorb the different flavors. Then, when you marinate the meat, you can start to prepare the grill. Once the grill is ready, start putting the steak on top of it. Now, grill each side for 6 minutes and then turn the other side of the meat. Using a cookie sheet you can then put a couple of foil layers on top of it. Once the steak is done, put it on the cookie sheet and then use the foil to wrap them.
Hope this helps.

How to build hovercraft skirts?
Find some airtight (make sure it's airtight before hand!) material to use for your wall skirt. Next, get enough material to fit around the outer edge of your hovercraft, and remember to always get a little bit extra. If you're constructing an 8-by-4 hovercraft like we did, we recommend making your skirt around 13-17 inches tall, but make sure it stays the same height all around. If you notice that the material you're buying comes in heights more than twice the height you want your skirt, just go ahead and buy enough so you can cut it up and sew different pieces of the skirt together. This is what we did, since we bought a 9-by-5 foot piece of material, and cut it up into three skirt segments that were each 15 inches tall and 9 feet long. We then sewed these pieces together, and double stitched them just to be sure. So you have a long material that is about 15 inches wide. If you just put this on the hovercraft the skirt would just flap out, so you need something to hold it. A rope is then attatched to the bottom and pulled tight. Make sure to use a strong rope that is braided rather than wound, so that if one part breaks it doesn't all fall apart. (We used a thick nylon rope for Home Depot) We folded an inch of the skirt over the rope and sewed it to itself to make a pocket. some people fold the skirt over the rope then duct tape it. But make sure that you make it with the rope already in it, and knot it so it doesn't slip out. The top edge of the material is mounted to the edge of your hovercraft, and the bottom end should have a rope strung through it (take the material, put the rope on it, fold it over the rope, and sew the material on itself to create a slot for the rope to be in) to keep it tight. This keeps the bottom of the skirt from flapping outwards, so it will inflate. Cut the skirt so that you have an inch overlapping and sew it by hand. tie the rope, pull it tight and burn the ends to prevent fraying. If your hovercraft doesn't inflate, try pulling your rope tighter. Before you finally cut the rope and seal the knot, try to make sure you haven't pulled your rope too tight, not allowing enough slack. Any part of the rope (like the knot) that's going to drag across the ground should get covered in something to protect it, like duct tape. FOR EXTRA PROTECTION: Cover the part of the skirt that drags on the ground (the section that the rope is strung through) in duct tape or some other strong material so the sewing doesn't come undone and the rope doesn't come out.

My first choice for partnering with a purple cardigan would be a grey. However, depending on the shade of purple, you could also use a navy. White and black are also safe choices, but again, it depends on the shade of purple.

How many yards do you need to make a skirt?
It depends on the style of the skirt. A snug mini-skirt, for example, uses much less fabric than one of those full circle skirts that comes down past your knees and billows out around your waist when you spin in a circle.
The best way to figure this out is to find a pattern for the specific skirt that you want. Each pattern has a table telling you how much fabric you need.
You can see a table that summarizes data from hundreds of patterns on this blog: http://afterthedress.blogspot.com. Look for the skirt link in the right hand column, near the top of the page.
Good luck!

How much did a mini skirt cost in the 1960?
Depending on which stores you go to shop for them.
I'd say about $10 bucks or less in the thrift shops and in the more wealthy stores it be about $15 bucks.
Take Forever 21 for example. Now that's a welathy store with pricey labels on there clothing.
But in thrift shops you get them for a bargain but also you have to wash them first before wearing them and i am sure you know that. lol
