It is very unlikely that an Osprey would kill and eat a cat. The Osprey only eats fish, so only has the talons and beak that are effective at killing and eating fish instead of larger mammals.

The Eagle was the rocket ship that went to space with Neil Armstrong (second man on the moon), Buzz Aldrin(first man on the moon) and Michael Collins on it. It was used for the mission called "Apollo 11". The Eagle has the actual eagle on the rocket ship. It went into space on July 16th, 1969 and landed on the moon on July 20th, 1969. Harris's hawk : According to a picture on Wikipedia, there is are week old Harris hawks, born around July. I would say maybe around July, and June. Wikipedia does not state when they are normally born however. There are usually two to four white to blueish white eggs sometimes with a speckling of pale brown or gray.

Broad-winged hawk : In the springtime, the breeding pair build a stick nest relatively low in a mature tree. The clutch can number from 1 to 5 eggs, but usually 2 or 3. The brown-spotted eggs are usually 49 × 39 mm (1.9 × 1.5 in) and weigh about 42 g (1.5 oz).

Northern Goshawk : Adults return to their nesting territories by March or April and begin laying eggs in April or May.The clutch size is usually 2 to 4, but anywhere from 1 to 5 eggs may be laid. The eggs average 59 × 45 mm (2.3 × 1.8 in) and weigh about 60 g (2.1 oz).

Bald Eagles are commonly reported by hang glider pilots in the Owens valley along the California/Nevada border to fly far above 15,000 feet. They will circle with hang gliders, sometimes flying only 10' off their wingtip. They will share the same rising thermal for many thousands of feet before the hang glider pilot or the Eagle leaves the thermal and flies on.

I have heard of reports of Bald Eagles being seen over 30,000 feet feet but cannot find primary sources for those reports. Bar Headed Geese have been known to fly at 29,000 feet and there is no reason that a Bald eagle could not fly as high or higher.

Let this be a lesson on "facts" found on the internet. All over the internet you will see claims that the Bald Eagle can only fly up to 10,000 feet which is not even close to being correct. Likewise you will see claims that the pesticide DDT was responsible for the dwindling Bald Eagle population which turns out to be also completely false. Do research. Look for primary resources. Don't believe everything you first, or commonly, hear.

They're very sharp hooks, essentially. The eagle swoops down on the prey and hooks it in it's talons, which also have very strong grip. This is why they can catch prey in the wing, they literally grab it as you would with a large grappling hook

When we are at the Jefferson County Farmer's Market, people are always talking about a soul food restaurant that utilizes the local food from there at the market. We sought the now mythical soul food restaurant that happened to be right up the street from the market here in Birmingham, Alabama. It was closed on Saturday. After getting over this, it was apparent that if their produce came from the market, then Saturday's would be a logical day to be closed. Therefore, we made it an early Sunday event, sort of like a brunch. We arrived at Eagle's Restaurant a little early because we wanted to beat the church crowds that inevitably invade every open restaurant in the south after approximately noon. Before we parked, the smell of the sweetest cream corn wafted through the air past the car. It was actually so pungent that I could tell it was creamed corn versus corn cooked in any other manner. True creamed corn is made by milking the starch from the cob after the corn is roughly forced from it; this starch makes the corn creamy. When it is done freshly, it smells so sweet and that is what we smelled at that very moment. Instantly, I could not wait to taste the cornbread. The wait staff was excellent. They guided us over the wide selection. We discovered it was useless and immediately planned the next series of visits. After approximately twenty seconds of that, we simply started on the vegetable end of the steam table. After returning with an embarrassing amount of everything, we dug in. I started with the silky deep orange yams, they did not disappoint. I have never really liked the older versions of cornbread because they are not sweet; in fact, they have a salty edge to them. They were perfect in combination with the sweet yams. It was perfection. They had several selections of meats that were smothered. This means they were pan roasted while covered in the ovens until they broke down into their own gravy that was thickened with roux and the juices of the meat. It went perfectly with the greens. The greens were a combination of mustard and turnips. We have now planned our Sunday's around our weekly visit to Eagle's Restaurant.
