Personally, as a Christian, I can say that neither are important. Why? Because Jesus wasn't born on 25th December, and He wasn't resurrected on "Easter Sunday" (which is a different date every year).
I worship God in spirit and truth every day, and do my best to follow Christ Jesus every day, and I don't need any Pagan holiday that has been "Christianized".
