diet pills aren't good for you anyway, and if you are taking effexor then I'm guessing you have depression problems. If you are worried about your weight, I know you have heard this 100,000 times. exercise, but you need to build lean muscle and not bulk ones. What you do is take something that isn't heavy to you and lift it 20 times, take a breath and keep doing this 3 or 4 times ( until the muscle gets tired) if you keep doing this you will lean the fat out of your muscles and they will look somewhere else for a source of food (un-wanted body fat) but dont starve those muscles you have to eat balanced meals and take a multi-vitamin while doing this or your body will eat the muscle before the fat. Diet pills just speed you up and end up giving you high blood pressure (for the rest of your life) and that might end up killing you. if you do it my way You will loose fat. if you want to take a diet pill without all the preservatives and crap, drink a cup of black coffee, it does the same thing. even if it is before you work out.

I was prescribed Effexor 75 mg to be taken in the am and to continue with 15 mg Avanza in pm (by psych) saw GP and asked for lower dose of effexor and was given 37.5 mg. Took it at 11am having taken 15 mg Avanza night before. By 6pm I was manic, hypervigilant, tachycardic. etc etc and ended up in A&E of local hospital, where I was given valium. Further consult with GP diagnosed seretonin syndrome, apparently very unusual at such low doses. Never going near that effexor stuff again unless I am off the Avanza. Have been told recently the combo is called californian rocket fuel. Good description. I thought I was going to die. be careful if you are prescribed this combo. fine for some, not for others.

I wouldn't recommend it. Unlike other allergy medications, chlorpheniramine maleate can act as a mild seratonin reuptake inhibitor, and it could interact negatively with Effexor. I'd strongly urge you to speak with your physican first.

effexor is an anti-depressent. vyvanse is a stimulant.

There are no documented problems with ADDERALL and DEPAKOTE so far. HOWEVER, you should check with your doctor before you take the following with Adderall: Benadryl and Chlor-Trimeton; MAO inhibitors; Fruit juices and xtra vitamin C; Procardia and other high blood pressure meds; Lithium;; Major tranquilizers-- Haldol,,Thorazine,, (psychotropic meds); Demerol-- (narcotic pain med); Dilantin, Phenobarbitol; Tofranil;. Adderall XR (indicates TIME RELEASE) don't crush, chew, or cut in half. In a totally different class of meds you have Depakote. The biggest worry about Depakote is LIVER FUNCTIONS. Regular blood tests are needed. Depakote and Adderall XR are both good medications. You should talk with your prescribing doctor if you have worries about them. You should not drink citrus juice when you take your dose of Adderall in the morning. It slows the way your body metabolizes the med. Foods and drugs that make your stomach/intestinal tract acidic may decrease absorption of Adderall. A partial listing of these items includes: fruit juices, reserpine, sodium acid phosphate, vitamin C, guanethidine. Drugs that make your stomach/intestinal tract basic (alkaline) may increase absorption of Adderall. A partial listing of these include: sodium bicarbonate, acetazolamide. YES, Effexor will actually show up as PCP on a drug test. I had to bring my prescription with me each time I had to provide a urine for employment purposes. The test centers know this, however, even with them knowing it, me bringing in my prescription bottle, and them seeing it on the list, I still had problems one time. I thought about sueing them for ruining my job chances, but that is another matter.

I have not seen a direct comparison, but if the fda max of pristiq is 100mg and Venlafaxine is 325mg, is would suggest somewhere between a 3:1 to 2:1 ratio. So 50mg of Pristiq might be roughly equivalent to 100 to 150 of venlafaxine.

First fire your Dr! Anyone that calls themselves a Dr and does this has no idea about serotonin norepinephrine, dopamine and the effects these chemicals have on your brain. First Effexor is in a class of antidepressants called SSRIs they control serotonin basically You are having withdraw symptoms! Did this so called Dr taper you down off the Effexor? If not please seek a second opinion What this Dr did is deadly! You could have seizures and die! Wellburin is in a class of antidepressants that work with dopamine and norepinephrine.
