How to reduce fat on cheek bones?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Attempting to reduce fat in just one part of your body at a time is likely to be disappointing.

Fat reduction works like this: When you try to lose fat through calorie-burning exercises, the reduction occurs all throughout your body. It cannot be specifically targeted in one region.

Also, exercises mostly serve to tone the muscle underneath the fat. But if you want visible muscles, the fat has to be burned off first. If you exercise enough, with aerobics such as swimming or bicycling, they will burn fat off your body, because they are designed to reduce calories. Yet the reduction in fat will not be quickly apparent because it will not be focused on only one spot on your body. So it's helpful to have a "slowly but surely" attitude.

Note that unlike reducing fat, muscle-building can be done in specific body areas.

Also note that in reducing fat, it's important to ditch the junk food and the sweetened drinks. Exercise alone might not be sufficient.

What is L-carnitine and does it really burn fats?

User Avatar

Asked by Reignedison

L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring compound in the body, often associated with its potential to aid in fat metabolism and weight management. It's a popular supplement, particularly in liquid form, but does it really burn fats? Let's explore what L-Carnitine is and how it plays a role in fat metabolism.

What Is L-Carnitine?

L-Carnitine is a naturally synthesized amino acid-like compound that primarily resides in the mitochondria, the powerhouse of our cells. Its primary function is to facilitate the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they can be oxidized or "burned" to produce energy. This process makes L-Carnitine essential for the conversion of fat into usable energy within the body.

Does L-Carnitine Really Burn Fats?

The role of L-Carnitine in fat metabolism is crucial, but it's essential to understand its limitations and the overall context:

Fat Transport: L-Carnitine assists in the transport of fatty acids, which is a fundamental step in fat metabolism. It helps ensure that the fatty acids can enter the mitochondria for oxidation.

Energy Production: While L-Carnitine plays a key role in transporting fatty acids, it doesn't directly burn fats. Instead, it supports the body's ability to use fat as a source of energy, especially during periods of increased energy demand, such as exercise.

Exercise Performance: L-Carnitine is often used as a supplement to potentially enhance exercise performance. By facilitating the use of fat as an energy source, it may help reduce muscle fatigue and support endurance during physical activities.

Weight Management: L-Carnitine is sometimes used as a component of weight loss programs. While it may aid in fat metabolism, its effectiveness varies among individuals. It should be considered as part of a broader strategy that includes a balanced diet and regular exercise.

L-Carnitine for Fat Burn

The effectiveness of L-Carnitine for fat burn can vary depending on several factors, including individual metabolism, diet, and exercise routines. It's not a standalone solution for weight loss, but it can be a useful addition to a healthy lifestyle. Here's what to keep in mind:

Diet and Exercise: To optimize the potential fat-burning effects of L-Carnitine, it's crucial to maintain a balanced diet and engage in regular physical activity.

In summary, L-Carnitine is a significant player in the fat metabolism process, assisting in the transport of fatty acids for energy production. While it doesn't directly burn fats, it can support fat utilization during exercise and energy-demanding activities. Its effectiveness in promoting fat loss can vary, and it should be used as part of a holistic approach to weight management, including a balanced diet and regular exercise.

For those considering an L-Carnitine supplement, Healthfarm L-Carnitine is a reputable and trusted choice. When choosing a supplement, it's essential to select high-quality products to ensure purity and effectiveness.

How many times a day do you have to walk a Doberman have to walk?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I have a doberman, this is how I walk him.

7:30 1/4 of a mile

4:00 2 miles

8:00 1/4 of a mile

These are the definite walks I take my doberman (Baz). I love to take my Baz and on top of these, I take him extra walks. The 1/4 of a mile walks are really only for toilet walks and the 2 mile walks are really for his energy. He has his mad hour at about 6-7 at night, so I try to get him out of the house then, of play mentall stimulating games, like letting him sniff one of his rubber toys then out hin in another room and hide and let him sniff it out. He loves that game, and it's aither that of having him mad and rampaging up and down the living room.

n the morning at 7:30 I take him a 1/4 of a mile,

then at 4:00 I take him a tow mile walk,

then at 8:00 or 9:00 I take him the 1/4 mile walk again.

Is it better to go walking before you eat or after you eat?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

For light exercise such as walking, it really shouldn't matter. Being completely starved when walking isn't much fun at all, but assuming you're well energized, walking before isn't going to create any problems. Unless you happen to consume a huge meal, it's unlikely you'll cramp doing something as light as walking, so walking after isn't a problem either. I'm sure some arguments about metabolism and weight loss will be made, but overall, it's just good to be somewhat active, whether or not it's the most perfectly optimum calorie burning activity.

How do you get thicker legs?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Exercise? It is also determined by your physiology. Steroids can help but are not reccomended. Perhaps it's better to be happy with your thin legs so long as you are fit. Lots of squats, running, cycling...those type of exercises. Running is a great way to get muscular legs that are lean, not bulky.

How much exercise does a black lab need?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Lots of exercise is good for every dog, but the Labrador Retriever part will require a fair amount. If the "doodle" is from a full-size hunting poodle, then that part will call for a lot of exercise, too.

If they whine and bark a lot, or chew up household items, then you can be sure that the dog needs more exercise and play.

Do frogs need exercise?

User Avatar

Asked by Brownie008

No they don't. All they need is food, air, and water (lettuce can be food for them). ---- Frogs, like most animals, have muscles, which should be regularly stimulated to keep them functioning perfectly. "Stimulation" in this sense does not mean setting up little treadmills and cycling machines, but rather just active movement in general. Confine a frog to a small space, and it will become weaker and weaker, as its muscles lose the need to function.

Guinea pigs run laps for exercise. That's why they need plenty of room in their cage or lots of floor time. Never put a pig in an exercise wheel or ball, they can cause unnecessary strain on the spine.
