Why is there still life on earth after major extinction?

Because some things are meant to live and some are meant to die. That's how God intended to do it. It wasn't animal's, or whatever's, time.

Answer:There is still life on Earth because life finds a way. As fragile as life is, you would think it would not take much to snuff it out completely, but look at grass. We have paved and cemented over huge areas of this planet, yet in ever parking lot, in the cracks of every sidewalk (and where there are no crack, cracks will be made) there is grass. It takes very little to kill grass. You can pull it up by the roots. You can burn it. you can spray it with herbicide, but it still comes back. Why? Because life finds a way.

If you are a Creationist, you know that God intended for life to go on. God built the universe with laws and logic, and life continues, no matter what we do with our free will.

If you are an Evolutionist or and atheist, you know that this accident has set into motion and what a huge motion it is. Conservation of energy and entropy aside, life has existed for so long that billions of years will pass before what started can be extinguished completely.

Which ever side of the stage you fall on, you have to admit that life will go on. It may not go as we intend it. It may be drastically changed by our meddling and our apathy. But, life will go on.

What are the reasons for dinosaures disappearance?

The main answer you would have heard of would be the giant meteor, but that's not the main reason. There were Tsunami's, Volcanic Eruptions and ect and that could cause climate change and then the plants would die there for the Herbivors ( plant eateing dinosaurs ) would die out because of the lava and stuff killing the plants and then the Carnivors ( Meatv eation dinosaurs ) would die out because all of the herbivors would have died out.

What weapons did the hunters use to kill a mammoths?

Stone age hunters used a variety of methods to kill the Woolly Mammoth. The weapons they used depended on which method they chose to use.

One method used by Mammoth hunters was the pit trap. The hunters dug a deep hole in the earth, and chased the mammoth past the pit hoping one would fall in. If one did fall in, then it probably died from the fall.

Another method chosen by the hunters was to chase the herd of mammoth over a cliff. Again, the mammoth probably died from the fall.

Another method used by the hunters was to circle around the mammoth and goad it into charging one of the hunters. When the mammoth charged the hunter, the other hunters would throw spears at the mammoth or try to cut the hamstrings on the mammoth's legs. If they were successful at cutting the tendons in it's legs, then they could get close and stab the mammoth with spears.
