Neither hurt in my opinion but I guess it depends on your tolerance for pain, I get my eyebrows done every month and I've become so accustomed to it that I feel next to nothing. If anything it is a slight tingle if it's done in the proper fashion. Getting your ears pierced isn't something you do on a monthly basis (well I don't anyway) so it will probably be a bit of a shock. I have had my traditional first holes pierced for years and just recently got my second holes done aswell. It really makes a big difference what part of your ear you are getting pierced. Both my piercings pinched a fair deal but I would have to say the second ones had slightly more pain because the skin is thicker and you're getting close to cartlidge (also I had a crappy person do mine , if you're canadian spend the extra ten dollars at claires and ditch ardenes.) Well the piercing needs to heal, this can take up to a year for a piercing to become seasoned (this is when you can remove the jewellery for a few hours and not have an issue putting it back in). Average heal time can vary from piercing to piercing from 4~6 weeks for some and other a lot longer. Light heals are not considered "healed" and can be damaged by removing the jewellery too soon.

There are generally 3 things to look for when trying to decide if your piercing is infected or is just a little irritated and all 3 things are generally present with an infection. the three things are: 1. redness around the openings 2. it feel hot or feverish 3. there is puss present at or being secreted out of the openings. if you're noticing all 3 of these signs chances are you have an infection.

Eyebrow piercings are somewhat tricky because most of them sit or ride right on top of the brow bone. This means that this bone is putting a constant, however slight, pressure on the part of the jewelry that is under the skin. This pressure can and most often does cause the piercing to "migrate out".

If this is the case you will experience openings that seem to always be at least slightly pink or seem irritated and the amount of skin between the two openings will gradually become narrower and narrower until it is no longer safe to wear jewelry. I have the same question, I only shaved off a piece, but it's enough to notice, and I'm feeling really bad about it. I'm hiding it with my hair but it's difficult, and I don't want anything like, using products or taking a bath in anything. Please help!!!!!! Not if you shave your own. However, shaving someone else's when they don't want you to, can be considered assault and would be considered a criminal offense.

It sure does! I would suggest trying it once to cure your own curiosity. If you like it, then keep doing it. You should know that it will hurt at least little pain, but there are numing liquid spray that can be applied to help the skin before your waxing treatment. Get it done professionally, it is embarrassing, then just close your eyes, but it will be done right.

However, to avoid searing, blinding pain, you should buy a tube of "no scream cream" (I bought it at an online drugstore) and apply 20 mins before you start waxing. It numbs the nerves on the skin, so it acutally doens't hurt when you pull the wax off.
