What is meant by - The Scylla of dullness and the Charybdis of mendacity meaning?
Well the idea of being between scylla and charybdis was the ancient greek version of being caught between a rock and a hard place. scylla was a sea serpent that killed many men in the odyssey, and charybdis was the name of the whirlpool that eventually sunk his ship.
In this context, you're getting caught between the negativity that comes with being boring and dull, and the skepticism that comes with telling big lies to appear exciting. The implication is that if you want to appear exciting or interesting, BE exciting or interesting.
What is the meaning of the idiom 'All cats look the same in the dark'?
It is a way of saying that you can't tell the difference between several things or choices if the situation is right - you can't see colours in the dark, so all cats look the same.
Another way you might hear this is "All cats are gray after midnight."
The saying All cats are alike in the dark means we are all the same underneath despite how we look on the outside.
Colour is absent in the dark, therefore anything in the dark would lack colour.

What does every cloud has Silver lining mean?
Every cloud has a silver lining
I got up this morning and I thought it was going to be a good day so I got up took my shower and did my daily routine. Then I stated to run to my bus and my leg cramped on me and I fell and hut my knee. Then I thought the day couldn't possibly get worse but boy was I wrong.
I get to school and the teacher I despise the most decided she would try to embrasse me in front of the class by asking me something she thought I wouldn't know well it worked .When the laughing subsided was mad at this point and I have a short fuse anyway so she starts going through this thing called A.R. This is were you read books of a cretin grade level and take test over them for points and you have to meet a cretin goal. Well this she thought was going to embarrasses me to because she had already printed it out before I got to class. Little did she know I took a test just minutes before so when she came to me and said u have zero percent I go want to bet she got mad and said something I couldn't catch and stated yelling at me in front of every one. I was sitting there with a smirk on my face and I said calmly go check your glass on the computer she did and I was right every one laughed at her. I shouldn't have done this because the rest of the day she plagued me.
We start to change class and at this time I usulay go see my girlfriend at her locker. I told her I had a meeting with a council for the school during lunch. I hated this because at lunch we usulay sit together and talk hold hand all the normal teenage stuff. On top of all my anger that became a problem to so I thought well I hit rock bottom today. Still I was wrong
I go to my second period class it went relatively well except one of my football team members said something to me about my girlfriend. Well I had to stick my fist in my pocket at this I wanted to knock him out. I and he never really got along at all. So it wasn't uncommon for him to make me mad. I thought to my self I better try to calm my self down before I get in trouble.
So the day goes on progressive getting worse until I just about snapped in my meeting someone implied that I wasn't being a very good member of the council so I went off of course no one said anything because I was mad and nobody talks when I am mad. So after that they hurry with the meeting getting it over with. I didn't expect to get to lunch but I did .I get there and I see my girlfriend she is on the verge of crying and I sit down beside her I see the answer why right in front of me. Her Best friend. She wouldn't tell me the exact reason why they weren't friends but I don't know what was the problem was so I couldn't help at all.
We sit there hand in hand the whole time talking helping each other. I love her so much she is my angle she is the one that gives me strength to keep going and do every thing I do. So when the lunch period is over we go to are fourth period class we sit by each other and we talk when we can. The rest of the day went off with out a hitch. When the dismissal bell rings I and my angle meet up at her locker. When we are leaving the building we turn and kiss each other as we leave to door I thought to my self "even though when it rains it pours but every cloud has its silver lining and this was ours".

What is the Meaning of There is no evil angel but Love?
the full quote is
"They do not love that do not show their love. The course of true love never did run smooth. Love is a familiar. Love is a devil. There is no evil angel but Love."
If you think about it, love - when you have it - can make you feel the happiest and most free in your life, but when you are without it or it is causing you pain, it can bring you crashing down to the lowest of lows. In that sense, it is an evil angel - a paradox of sorts because angels are pure and innocent, and the contrast that exists in the "evil angel" idea comes from the fact that love can hurt you or help you. Sometimes it is easier to live without it, for you feel no pain from scorned love, but it is a lonely life without love.
Much like how fire can warm you or burn you if you are too close - such as in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein - to think one could ever fully understand love is like walking a tightrope over an alligator tank. As quoted, again, by Shakespeare, "love to faults is always blind, always is to joy inclined. Lawless, winged, and unconfined, and breaks all chains from every mind."
Go Big or Go home means do as much as you possibly can or try your hardest or you might as well just leave or stop what your doing.
