When is the Bass Pro Shop in Augusta Ga sceduled to open?
I live in Augusta and have been waiting for BPS to show up. According the the talks in Jan. this year (Augusta agreed to help fund the development with $25 million) the store should have been finished by now. Though nothing has been started. BPS laid off their store design team so it will probably be a while unless the economy picks up. BPS still has Augusta on its map as a future site. All we can do is wait.

How do you use a plastic worm when fishing for Bass?
Make a cast to any type of structure, like a log, grass bed, or any shoreline hiding place. Raise the rod tip, and twitch the worm, then repeat the process until the bait is back to the boat. When you get started, first put a bullet weight on the line, then tie on the hook. When that is done, take the worm, push the point of the hook into the worm head about a quarter of an inch, then push it out the side, and push the worm to the hook eye. Take the point of the hook and push it into the side of the worm, making sure the point is not exposed. This is called a Texas rig and is a great way to catch bass. When the fish hits, it will feel like a thump. Tighten your line and set the hook with a snap of the wrist, and hold on!

How do you tie a Carolina rig?
First, take around two feet of twelve pound line. Tie on a number three or four wide gap bass hook. Your main line should be somewhat larger than the terminal line, 14 works well.
