Where do you aim when spearfishing?
Aim just a little behind and below the eye on most fish with a body like a snapper or Tuna. I have always found to be the best area to shoot at. Just remember that underwater, everything is magnified around 25%. And that the refraction of light underwater, creates an a skewed and disproportionate view while down there, and in turn while aiming a spear gun. As long as the fish is on the tether after you shot, your aimed right.

What is the difference in mono fishing line and fluoro fishing line?
Fluorocarbon fishing line is different than monofilament in a few distinct ways. Besides the obvious difference in material, flourocarbon also has less line memory than mono., and has very little stretch if any, allowing for very good sensitivity (allowing the fisherman to feel everything the line or lure comes in contact with very distinctly. Fluorocarbon is also very resistant to abrasion. Naturally, with all of these advantages over mono., flourocarbon is more expensive on average, but the investment is well worth it.
What determines right or left on a fishing reel?
A right handed fishing reel is one in which you use your right hand to turn the handle. For left handed reels you use your left hand. Most spinning reels allow you to change the handle from left to right as you desire. Baitcasting reels have the handles on fixed sides and they can not be moved.
People tend to reel withtheirdominant hand but in the end it comes to personal preference andergonomics.
This MAY be a cultural thing (not sure) but many anglers (most, in the UK) will turn a reel handle with their non-dominant hand, holding the rod (and reel) in their stronger hand.
Consequently, a right-handed reel (as used by an angler with a dominant right hand) will have the handle on the left, and vice versa.
