how much is a sword of kings watch by the royal mint worth

it is a collection of 72 gold on silver Worl;s First Stamps. I bought one of this collection to The Franklin Mint in 1980. I conserve these stamps in a three pages exhibiting book. Easy answer: it depends on how badly someone else wants it.

Harder answer. Go on eBay and do a detailed product sales search and see if any other sets have been sold and how much they sold for. That's a more useful indicator than some catalog where everything exists in an ideal world.

The value of Franklin Mint and other private mint sets are based primarily the silver bullion value, but other factors include rarity, condition, attractiveness, completeness, etc. Start with the bullion value. The Rockwell's Fondest Memories set has 10 1500-grain sterling silver ingots. Silver bullion value as of today is calculated as follows: (1500 grains*10 ingots = 15000 grains; 15000 grains/480 grains/oz = 31.25 troy oz Sterling; 31.25 oz * 0.925 purity = 28.9 oz. pure silver; 28.9 oz silver @ $13.67/oz = $395). The silver price is constantly changing, so the bullion value changes with it. This particular set is not unusually rare. If you are buying this set from a coin dealer or website, expect to pay a 20%-30% premium over the bullion value. If you are selling, expect to get an offer of 20%-30% less. July 16, 2009 The 1910 Barber Dime was struck in 3 US Mint facilities; Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. The mintmarks for these mints can be found on the reverse [tails] side of the coin beneath the wreath. The letter "D" indicates the coin was minted at Denver, Colorado. The letter "S" indicates the coin was minted at san Francisco, California. If there is no letter there at all then that indicates the coin was struck at the mint in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in this reply is repersented by 1910-P. The values for this coin in the various grades is shown in the chart below. One full set (100) of Franklin mint history of flight coins sold at auction for $2350. Another set offered on eBay apparently did not sell at $1695. Of course the price depends on condition and on silver price at the moment.

In the case of these coins, price also depends on whether they are in their beautiful Franklin binder, and whether they are accompanied with the separate factbook.

How much are they worth

unfortunately these stamps are worth virtually nothing -- perhaps 10 cents apiece

I've been researching it and i came up with around $4,000.00 depending on the condition and if it is the 50 piece set.

There have been dozens and US stamps and hundreds of international stamps issued for the Olympics. Without more information, such as country of issue and value it would be difficult to determine any sort of value. Special cancellations and different values are likely to be worth more. Consult a postage stamp catalog, usually available at your local library for exact identification and catalog values.

By going on ebay, finding as many as possible that are similar and watching what they sell for. The price is driven entirely by demand.

At the close of the market on Friday 11/28/08, New York silver in .999 fine was selling for $10.36/oz. Sterling contains 92.5% pure silver, and the current value of a 1000 grain bar is thus ~$19.30.

Franklin Mint shows the current value of a 1976 bar at $30.00. The bars were quite common in the 70's, but the number minted was reduced in the 80's and 90's, making those issues more valuable.

So the purchase cost was at least $1000 (in 1975$) but today it's only worth what

someone is willing to pay for it. I just donated my collection to the local elementary

school. I did some research last year, and didn't see it selling for more than $100.

When I researched it today, I couldn't find any matches.

Which one? they did the Empress Alexandra ( Stacy"s mother) and also a neatly scaled down and lovely red-haired Anastasia, Crown princess ( two separate dolls) possibly other Royal personnages maybe Empress Elisabeth (use Continental spelling, Elisabeth with an S) She was done up as a special run in l998 on the looth anniverary of her assasination! Elisabeth was fatally stabbed in Geneva, getting on or off ( accounts differ) a Ferryboat-the most peaceable mode of transportation- in a Neutral ( Geneva Convention) city! Oh brother, poor Betty. The Empress Elisabeth Dolls were made by Mattel and are technically Barbies but she has red hair and blue eyes and Austrian get-up. Good luck.

There are 480 grains in 1 Troy ounce. If each commemorative medal contains 500 grains, that is equivalent to 1.0416667 Troy ounce in each medal. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver. Thus, .925 x 1.041667 = 0.963542 Troy oz. of pure silver. You can then multiply 0.9653542 times the current spot price of silver to determine the approximate melt value of each medal. Multiply that times the number of medals in the set to get a total approximate melt value. Sets such as these generally sell for a premium over the melt value. With silver at $18.00/Troy oz., each coin would be worth $17.34 melt value. If there are 38 coins in the set, the total of the medals would be 38 X $17.34 = $$658.92. To that would be added some premium to represent fabrication, packaging, and distribution.

I just paid $100.00 for this set at a local coin shop (basically the value of the 3 silver coins plus a few bucks). I have seen this offered on E-Bay for $125-$200. The 2007 World Coin price guide had a value lower the the silver content of the 3 Sterling Silver Coins (already out of date).

It all depends. Is it on a photo, cheque, or paper? If its on a photo or plain paper then its worth less than if it was on a letter or cheque. Letters and cheques are more personal and uncover a small amount of her day to day life.

Also, if it is written in pencil its worth less than if written in ink (pencil fades). If its ink and the ink is red, its more than likely its secretarial, meaning her entourage signed it for her. She did use red ink sometimes, not often, but mainly black, blue or green.

Taking everything in consideration, if you do believe its genuine, it could be worth anything from £1,500 - £5,000.
