How do you bring a dead frog to life?
if your fish is swimming on its side than you dont feed it for two days and then give it a shelled pea.
If it is actually dead, then there is no way of bringing it back to life. Death is permanent.
Yes. most frogs are very good for ponds. if you are looking to have one as a pet, there is no guarantee that it will stay there tho... all frogs eat mozzies, so you wont get bitten as much. If you lit the pond up, the mozzies will come near and frogs will eat them.
Is there such thing as the three headed frog?
Not normally, but vary rarely they can be born 'conjoined' just like humans.
What is shape of red blood cell in frog?
I thought it was spoon shaped, but it turned out to be rectangular.
they put them in their mouths and chew, followed by a gulp.
What are some characteristics that humans have - in common - with frogs?
they are two different species.
human brain is more complex than amphibians
they are diffrent from each other except they are chordates .
mammal skin is not slimy as amphibians.
human has not webbed feet.
amphibian can live in both dry land and water.
in amphibian larval stage occur during development .
Yes, frogs are known as amphibians. Humans are known as mammals.
Some frogs live in water and humans live on land. We do not have all the parts that a frog does. The parts that are similar are much smaller in a frog. Frogs have muscles in their legs that help them jump far and high, unlike us. Frog's lay eggs and humans don't. The frog's eggs can be scattered in the frog's body covering many organs. (in a female frog only) Speech, emotion and opposable thumbs are sadly lacking in frogs.
If it is young give it crackets and as it gets older you can start giving it pinky mice and maybe fish. they will not go and hunt for there food the food must come to them. do not get a tank that is to big you will not need a lid they do not jump get a 10 gal tank or a 20 no big. sorry about the spilling
What is it called when frogs bury themselves?
because their source of food are reduce in winter and they hibernate . hibernation slows down their metabolism and they stay in that dormant condition without much need for food
Many people eat the legs of certain species.
And no, not just the french, certain snakes and birds and carnivores eat them, it just depends on what type. As some frogs are toxic, there aren't a lot of things that can stomach them.
Frogs will eat flies, worms, crickets, moths, and other insects. Or, if there is another frog nearby that is small enough to swallow, that frog will be eaten. Snakes, birds, bigger frogs, mongooses, rats, raccoons, and others eat frogs.
Snakes and lizards and some bugs eat frogs.
Frogs eat dragon flies and most bugs and sometimes other smaller frogs.
snakes.
cats and foxes
Just about anything, even humans...ever heard of frog legs? (o:
the thing that eats frogs are eagles
-snakes .
snakes.
I think they to attract them is by having a kiddie pool in your backyard or in the woods they usually live in woods or in little ponds by the woods. If your using a kiddie pool like me i would dig a hole the size of the pool and put it in there then put pond water in it the reason why you have to dig a hole is because some frogs wont be able to get in there attracted a frog in there and its a green or bronze frog i caught it on July 27 2012 it was sitting on a rock half on half off like gray tree frogs laying there eggs but i don't know how green or bronze frogs mate or lay eggs i put it in my frog tank with 4 other fire belly toads for a other question someone asked can a frog or toad lay its eggs with no mate i answerd that one 2. Just be careful when you put water in your kiddie pool in the woods mosquitoes will go there and to attrack frogs to lay eggs put leaves in the pool and they will soon float to the bottom and tadpoles will eat them but do not put tap water in itl when you have tadpoles in it i killed all all the ones in it sadly on July 28. Sorry 4 any typos
Why do frogs and butterflies lay more eggs at a time?
Because these are animals that we would classify as having a high mortality rate. Meaning, that the percentage of eggs that make it to adulthood is very low. They compensate for this by laying a lot more eggs at a time, ensuring that a greater number make it to adulthood. That is also why humans only have one offspring at a time, and rarely more. Because our mortality rate is so low, that it is not necessary for our species survival to have more than one.
What is the length of the digestive system in a frog?
Koalas' length differs according to whether they are from the southern part of Australia or the north.
Koalas in northern parts of Australia are smaller, with males growing to a length of 74 cm and females growing to 72 cm.
Southern koalas are larger. The males can grow to 82 cm whilst females can grow to a length of 73 cm.
What is the Northern Leopard Frog's call?
"Chuckleluck-chuckleluck-chuckleluck-chuckleluck" is the call of the Relict Leopard Frog (Rana onca, Lithobates onca).
Specifically, the voice of the Relict Leopard Frog is a rapidly repeated series of chuckles and grating notes. It is similar to that call of the Lowland Leopard Frog (R. yavapaiensis). The call tends to be given underwater and during the months between February and April as well as in November.
What is the ear on a frog called?
Frogs don't have external ears like we do. Instead, they have an eardrum of sorts, called a tympanum, which sits just behind each eye. When sound hit the tympanum (essentially a thin membrane surrounded by a cartilage ring) it vibrates. This in turn vibrates a rod connected to the inner tympanum. The vibrating rod stirs fluid in the inner ear, and the resulting waves wash over tiny hair cells. These hair cells are connected to nerve fibers that transfer the electrical pulses to a part of the brain that interprets sound.
Amazingly, frogs also hear with their lungs. When sound waves hit the lungs, they're funneled directly to the tympanum (the frog's eardrum) through an air link. The difference in pressure between sound waves coming in from the external environment and those being funneled through the lungs is allows the frog to locate sound. This helps female frogs, for example, locate mates during the breeding season.
The air link between the lungs and the tympanum may also protect the frog's ears from its own calls, which can be nearly as loud as a jackhammer in some species (90 to 95 decibels). Specifically, the air link helps to equalize the pressure on the inside and outside fo the ear drum so that it doesn't rupture.
Where are the external nares on the frogs located?
The internal nostril openings (nares) carry air from the nostrils to the mouth, so that a frog can breathe air when on the surface, by expanding its mouth to pull in and "swallow" air. Underwater, the internal nares close to keep water out.
Probably, most ducks eat grass and vegetation. Most people think that ducks eat or like bread. But surprisingly the bread gets them very sick and can get stuck in a little pouch of skin in the duck's throat.
Why did luigo galvani do the frogs legs experiment?
Luigi Galvani didn't intentionally do the frog leg experiment. He was working with static electricity by using frog skin. When he took the metal scapel that he was using during the static electricity experiment, it became charged with static electricity. When he identically touched one of the the frogs' nerve, the frog leg twitched. This helped us later understand that our nervous system practically works on electrical impulses/signals.
What is the respiratory organ of the frog?
Gills for tadpoles, lungs for adults.
Gills for tadpoles, lungs for adults.
Adults have lungs, and the skin of the frog can absorb tiny amount of oxygen through their skin. Tadpoles have gills.
The skin.
the answer is the amphibian breathe through their gills, skin, and soon they use their lungs to breathe
Larvae have gills, and adults have lungs.
