In order to work at Game stop you need to be 16 years old. You begin the job as a Game Associate. You need to be 18 in order to be promoted to Senior Game Associate, Assistant Manager, or Manager. You receive a 15% discount off of all merchandise except new consoles. I work there myself and if you get a good store it is an extremely fun job! But be sure not to listen to Game Stop haters out there.

save up an extra 4 or 5 bucks for gas and give them gas money to take you there. if they dont do it then, get some friend of yours with a car and give them that same 4 or 5 bucks. if that doesnt work then give the money you were gonna buy whatever-the-hell with to your parents so they can order it off the internets for you, and you'll have it in a few days.

yes. if you want to trade in modern warfare 3 for crysis 2, then most likley they will trade it in for you. but if you want to trade crysis 2 for modern warfare 3 the they wont except. because crysis 2 is 20$, while mw3 in like 50 to 60$. if you trade a game thats less the amount of money of the game you want, GAMESTOP WILL SAY NO.

I had just called them about this a couple of weeks ago. They said all PS3's would be around $70-120$ store credit. I know, I know, Gamestop majorly rips people off. But if you don't like what Gamestop offers, just go online and sell it.

People sell them on Ebay every month and you can search the completed listings. Exactly what the games are has a lot to do with what the system is worth. Many games Gamestop does not buy as they have plenty and no one is buying them

GameStop does not fix games. They buy, sell and trade games, but since they get the games from companies like Nintendo, Activision, and EA, they don't know anything about how they are made or how they are fixed.

Once i offered to give gamestop my ps2 memory card and they said it was worth 1 cent and they sell it for 10 bucks.

No. At this point, GameStop has made it its goal to not trade in any games over 3 years of age, including parts that came with. Since they don't trade what they don't sell, and since they've stopped carrying instruments, you'll have to find another store that can trade those in, or sell them online. At this point, those controllers are worth $2 or less.

Well, to buy one brand new would be about $47.76 (at Toys R Us...) but that is buying JUST the game. If you were to buy the game and the key pad that goes into the GameBoy Advanced slot (which is needed to play) the game costs about $52.80 (brand new).

If you were to buy one used it would depend upon the dealer of that used item, and its condition. It is better to buy the game brand new because in a used game, the key pad may be worn out and easily broken, or the pick stylus may scratch your screen since the protective plastic layer has worn off.
