I don't really know about that but if your friend is doing the ouiia board in any room, make sure that the tell them to leave afterwards because otherwise they might not leave and so you might get haunted. That's what happened to my room, but then afterwards it didn't leave so we had to use the board again and we had to force it to leave.

As far as i know, ghosts can only scared a human being, but cannot directly kill them. In some horror movies, some of the ghosts look extremely frightening , which made its victim lost his/her consciousness, lead to death ( heart attack for example) or fainting, but that's only a horror element of the movie. It's also depend on the type of ghost, if a ghost came back for revenge, then it might be able to haunt its victim , drive them into insanity and finally lead to suicide.
