he got it when ares and athena where looking for the so called "marked one". the two gods thought that it was deimos, but it was actually kratos. kratos tried to save his brother but ares struck hm in the face and thats how he got the scar. and anyways the event happened in sparta when kratos and deimos where traning.

So far of all the games god of war 3 has the best graphics of any game i've seen.

Zeus was one of the many sons and daughters of the titan cronos and the brother of hades and posiedon.In god of war 2,Gaia shows Kratos that how was Zeus born and how his hatred for the Titans builded up.Which is quite unusual because he himself was the son of a titan.The hatred rose because cronos,shortly after the birth of Zeus heard a prophecy saying that he will be overthrown by one of his own offspring.So,he decided that he will imprison all his children in his belly.But,as we see in the game,Zeus's mother saves him and sends him to Gaia.He grows there and after about 25 years goes to Cronos to save his brothers and sisters but manages only Hades and Poseidon.despite bieng born to a titan and grown up in a titan he hated them and thats what caused the great titan war seen in the end of the game.

it just a story prequel to the god of war 1 but is not the actual first god of war game.

Not exactly. It is loosely based around Greek mythology. Some differences between the actual Greek mythology and the God of War story is that Kratos was not Zeus' son. Kratos, along with his siblings, served as a retinue, a small army you could say, for Zeus. And Kratos was never actually involved with Ares and Athena. A similarity I found is that Typhon was actually trapped in a mountain, Zeus did that. I hope that answered your question.

The gods were not physically depicted but their influence was still presented. The Trojans allegance to Apollo with their temple and aurors. Achilles even gives a speech to Breseis with his philosophy on the gods. Some of the events in the Illiad where the gods interfered with the events were re-done by Peterson. The scene where Paris battles Menelaus for example: Paris is suppose to be surrounded in a cloud of fog by Aphrodite and swooped to safety. Peterson tweaked the scene to have Hector save his brother instead of Aphrodite. At times like that just think in your head that Aphrodite spoke to Hector to save him. In God of War Chains of Olympus for the PSP Kratos kills her because she releases the titan Atlas who try's to destroy the great pillar which is holding up from the underworld. After you beat him Personophe try to kill you to so Kratos kills her as well. God of War Chains of Olympus is a prequel to God of War.

I believe the simple Sunday School teaching "God is Love". Yeshua (Jesus is a Greek name, I believe Yeshua or Joshua is closer to something the rabbi would have recognized) taught that to Love one another as we Love ourselves was the primary commandment.
