You have pretty much answered this one! :-) I take it no one warned you? For about the first 2-3 years, a golden will want nothing more than to be the center of your world - just like a toddler. And then they will still want it but may not be as vocal about it. They are VERY people-oriented, and can become so attached to their owners it will drive you nuts. I will guess that he is in good health, eating well, and has good bladder and bowel habits. If all else is normal, then I believe he is simply trying to get your attention the only way he can... to ask for it... So take some time out from your busy schedule and go play!

Blood in the stool is NEVER normal. Check the stool for foreign objects that the Golden puppy may have eaten and that caused bleeding when the object was passed.

This does NOT have to be as gross as it sounds --- just scoop the stool into a clear plastic bag FIRST (like a Ziploc bag) --- then crush the stool gently while it's still in the clear bag and you will find any foreign object the puppy may have eaten. Unfortunately, Golden puppies are well-known for happily gulping down just about anything they can fit down their throats!

If the bleeding problem continues, PLEASE bring the puppy to a vet as soon as possible.

Constipation can be very serious in dogs, so you should see your vet ASAP. Your vet may recommend changes to the dog's diet (different kibble, more fiber, more exercise, more water, etc.), and if the condition is severe he or she may recommend measures to correct the current constipation.

My parents have a retriever that gets a strong "fishy" smell. It has something to do with her glands near her butt. They have to get squeezed by the vet -- the vet can teach you how, so you can do it at home. But it is very gross to smell and oozy. If you don't get her glands squeezed, then she can get infections.

The point is, their off spring are color sexable. meaning all the girls (layers) are going to stand out from the cockerels (boys) which are useless to an egg farmer.

This sounds like a bacterial infection. You need to take your Dog to the Vet immediately. Don't try to treat this yourself. This will be very painful for your Dog. With a clean gauze, wet it with luke warm water and gently (very gently!) wipe your Dogs testicles. Do not rub but wipe to clean away some of the germ present there. You need to contact your Vet now about this. Bacterial infections can spread to any part of your Dog's body.
