Simply because on Tour, they are not allowed to. Amateurs can though.

What glue club shaft to head?

Epoxy. You can use special epoxies, but I usually use the rather ordinary stuff from the hardware store that comes in the double syringe. The quick setting kind is not strong enough. Besides being strong, they fail at temperatures higher than you'd ever hit in a hot car, but easily achieved with a heat gun.

What is a banana ball in golf?

The outside-in swing impacts the golf ball right of center instead of flush on the back of the ball. The resultant spin turns the ball clockwise in the air, causing it to "slice" to the right, also known as a "banana ball." At Over the Top Golf, we compensate for this outside-in swing with five set-up changes that automatically squares the clubface, provides proper weight transfer which results in a straight shot, even with the outside-in swing.

There are numerous web sites as well as PGA teaching pros who advertise that they can fix, cure or correct an outside-in swing but success among amateurs is rare, unless much practice is involved.

There are only three avenues of relief, one is to commit to periodic lessons and constant practice, two is to take advantage of your outside-in swing at Over the Top Golf or three which is learn to live with your left to right shots and practice the short game almost exclusively.

Is Norrie Paramor related to European Chief Golf Referee John Paramor?

John is the son of Norrie and my cousin.

David Paramor

----------------------------------------------------------------

I had the good fortune of being a friend of John Paramor at a school in Finchley we weight trained together with Boaz Bar Chaim

During one school holiday I was fortunate enough to be invited to enjoy a weekend break with the Paramor Family at their sea front residence near Brighton, where I met the famous Vera Lyn who was visiting with her husband ,I still have the photograph of Vera Lyn with her unsolicited arm around my young shoulder, but alas no picture together with John and family .It was during this rare break from a poor home that I learned to play canasta, during which Johns famous and highly respected father Norrie entertained us hugely with the most incredible facial expressions that bore no relation to the hand he was playing .

In that short time whilst coming to know Johns parents I remember becoming so endeared by them that I inadvertently said "yes Dad" in support of Johns request for something from his father only to instantly feel much abashed by my impertinence compounded by the momentary silence that followed .

I shamefuly remember sometime later giving john a biff on the chin whilst in the school gym and for no good reason ,i remember the resulting emotion swelling up in Johns eyes as he,, to my amazement walked away instead of flattening me, which i would have well deserved ,he even came and further apologised to me a couple of days later at the behest of his kindly mother [he so informed me] to my further astonishment

Their was never even a trace of bullying in John, he was friendly and kind to everyone at school and clearly unspoilt unlike the other children of wealthy parents.

I remember also from schooldays, Johns developing interest in Golf particularly the rules of the Game with its ascociated clubhouse etiquette and my nearly wrecking his career after being invited by him for a round of Golf in Allypally golf club with another school chum called Barret [may not be spelt correctly] despite my needing six swipes to biff the ball a short way once .

On another occasion at allypally [confined to observer status]I recall Johns incredible respect and defferance to an exhibition performance by an aging golf pro well passed his prime.

John had to constantly implore us/me to behave whilst he steadfastly refused to participate in the resultant mayhem created by the budding Mr Bean yours truly

Many years later after leaving school and scarcely ever seeing any school chums I met an older person who had worked for EMI recording and still pined for the Old days when "The greats such as Norrie Paramor "would shake the hands of all the recording artists, before being the last to leave the recording studio ,he was surprised that one so young as I could personaly have known the great Norrie Paramor

If only John had become a banking regulator he would have cleaned the pirates out from the square mile long ago....a job for his son or daughter perhaps.
