What is the average GPA and GPA requirement for graduate programs at Oxford in England?
there is no definite GPA at Oxford since the scoring is different in each country. however, chances are you'll need to go by the guidelines of universities such as Princeton or Stanford-- at LEAST a GPA of 4.0, most likely higher.
A 2.7 GPA on a normal 4.0 scale is a Middle to High "B".

It all depends on the course; whether the course is standardized or not and it's intended difficulty. As a general rule of thumb, 80-85% is a B+ which constitutes 3.25. 86-90% is usually A- which is 3.75
What was obama's gpa at occidental college?
We don't know, because he is under no obligation to release his grades; college grades are protected by federal privacy laws, and few presidents have released their grades; this does not mean they are hiding anything-- it just means they choose not to release them at this time. But that said, Mr. Obama has been very public about what an unfocused and indifferent student he was at Occidental, so we may assume his grades were average at best.

What is a good GPA for highschool?
It depends on what type of boarding school. If you want to get into the extremely selective schools like Phillips Exeter like I did, you have to basically be perfect in every aspect of your educational life...so a 3.5 is definitely not good enough unless you just happen to be ranked #1 in tennis in the United States or something = ]

What GPA do you need to get into UCLA?
Just try to get above an 1500 which is still kinda low. 1800 and above is best. I know someone who had an 1800 and got in there. I think you were talkong about sat not act!!!
Yes, the ACT is on a 0-36 scale, with a 36 being a perfect score. I would aim for a 30 or higher... you can get a full-ride scholarship almost anywhere with a 30 or above on your ACT. My neighbor went to Harvard full-ride with a 30, so you'd be good for UCLA with at least that. I also believe they want you to take the writing portion of the ACT as well. So make sure you do that too.
What GPA do you have if you have 3 A's 2 b's and 1 c?
To find GPA, we first equate grade letters to the 4.0 scale and then take their average.
A = 4.000
A- = 3.667
B+ = 3.333
B = 3.000
B- = 2.667
C+ = 2.333
C = 2.000
C- = 1.667
D+ = 1.333
D = 1.000
D- = 0.667
F = 0.000
So, with 2 As, 3 Bs, 1 C, and 2Ds, we get 2(4) + 3(3) + 2 + 2(1) = 21. Now we divide by 8, and get a GPA of 21/8 = 2.625.
What happens if you get a D on a Freshman report card?
It depends what the Ds are in. If it was a hard class such as pre-calc versus Algebra I, then colleges will look at that and what other hard classes you were taking. Bottom line, if the college asks you about what happened, do not blame the teacher or the school. Just admit that you obviously had a hard time with that class and that you have improved since then.
We do not have this information, although the president has acknowledged that for the first several years of his undergraduate work, he was an unfocused and somewhat indifferent student. Eventually, when he attended Columbia, he became more focused on his studies. The information we do have is that he graduated from Harvard Law School in 1991 with academic honors-- "Magna Cum Laude," which, according to the Harvard Law School website, is awarded to the top 10% of the school's students. He was also elected editor of the Law Review, an honor that the school says is given to a student seen to have great potential for the legal field.
If you GED score is 476 what would be your GPA?
== Letter grades (A, B, C, etc.) are not standardized across every high school; that is, an "A" student at one high school may be a "C" student at a more rigorous high school. Therefore, we cannot equate GED test scores to a GPA. We can provide a national percentile rank that tells you where a GED candidate stands in relation to graduating high school seniors.
