Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day is an observance but it is not a public holiday in the United States. However, areas around parks and some streets may be busy or congested in towns, such as Punxsutawney, where Groundhog Day events are popular.

Oh, dude, like, the groundhog doesn't exactly hit up the salon for a winter makeover or anything. But, like, as winter approaches, these little critters start growing a thicker coat to stay warm in the chilly weather. So, if you see a groundhog looking extra fluffy, you know it's just getting cozy for the winter hibernation party.

If the Groundhog "sees" his shadow, then there will be a longer winter.

If the Groundhog doesn't "see" his shadow, then the winter for that year will be over.

Personally, I think the Groundhog Day is very biased because what they do is take a groundhog and hold him up against lights so everyone may see.

Well, if there are many of bright lights, his shadow will definitely be there won't it?
