Yes, as long as there is a place that they can get off of it. My guinea pigs live outside in a cage on the grass. Just make sure they have a sleeping area that they can jump into to get off the ground because it can get cold. And in winter I put a tarp around the cage to keep them warm. And in summer you have to keep them cool. So I just wet them with water and put them back. Cucumber in summer is also great because it is full of water. They love it. And make sure that they have a fresh supply of water. !! Hope that helps !!

Inbred means that it was created totally within the family line, not with an outside gene like normal breeding. For example, if a female cat mates with its father, all the kittens will be inbred, because the father is also the mother cat's father. The kittens will also be deformed because of a gene mixup.

ermmmm depends are they using teeth ! n are they lifting there heads to make them look bigger just watch them as playing usually involves biting the ears n charging at eacother where as fighting is lifting the heads n aming at eachothers necks n i think they make this weird purring noise ....
Yes, they can do ok with dogs. The hard part is making sure the dogs do not want to eat the piggy. You should introduce a piggy carefully to a dog. This way the piggy will not be frightened or hurt.

It kind of depends on how you take care of your guinea pig. The more you talk to them and play with them, the more they will show there little personalities to you. I know it may sound a bit crazy though. I have had guinea pigs my whole life, and they tend to react to certin peoples voices, for example who ever talks to them the most. My guinea pig knows her name and when we put her down on the floor we call her name and she will run over to us, sort of like a dog. But like i said it all depends on how you take care of them, and how much attention you pay to them (: So yes i guess they sort of can understand us !
