It is a gymnastics move and it is the most difficult one ever. It's so difficult no one has ever landed it but there have been attempts.
The worlds most famous gymnast is Shawn Johnson. She is the most famous female gymnast in the world and competed sevral times in the olympics.
depending on what gymnasts center ur going to will depend. if u go to like fit for kidz they start u off at what ever level is comfortable for u and based on what u can do if ur at a gymnasts center that is strict then u might have to be required to be able to do sertan tumbling before u can be in that level
Floor - Round off back handspring, back layout, full (or any kind of twisting), back tuck, front hand spring, front tuck, back handspring step out, back layout step out, back hand spring step out, double/triple backs (and twisting)
Vault-Tsukahara, Yurchenko, and u can do twisting out of those
Bars-Tchecatchevs, sheposh, yager, straddle backs, and a lot more i cant remember at the moment (dont think i spelled any of those right)
Beam-aerials (front and side), layouts, front handsprings, back tucks, front tucks
feel free to correct the spelling errors (i know i made some) and add more cool tricks!
A fit athlete who loves to swing, jump and leap. most gymnasts are brave and open minded to new challenges.
of course you can people do that all the time on bars but you have to be a level 5 or 6
Depends if it's standing or running. Standing it would be bhs. Running it would prob be round off
The biggest gymnastics competition is the Olympics, because all the gymnastic competitions and events are held at the same time of the Olympics so they have put them together as one whole event, including all the other events too like running, hurdles etc.
By The Way (BTW): If you want to get a positive answer please spell COMPETITION correctly! =)
Thanks for posting this question XD
Typically, rhythmic gymnasts have less injuries than other kinds of gymnasts. But as in all other types of gymnastics, if an athlete doesn't stretch out enough and/or properly, it can lead to injuries.
Carly Patterson
she was in the 2004 Olympics look her up on youtube or Google

does this help
let me knowww:)
The Beam & Block system is an alternative method to hollowcore and wide slab floor systems. This method consists of having T beams spanning across the floor area, wall to wall.
The system involves using pre-stressed, inverted "T" beams which are in filled with standard concrete blocks. Beams are produced to give nominal depths from 150mm to 225mm and are placed at 520mm and/or 295mm centres depending on the span and load.
Joints between the beams and blocks are to be grouted after installation and before screeds are placed. Insulation can be laid directly on top of construction. Screed is then poured to give a smooth finish to receive floor covering.

No, women do uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, and vault.
Men do the rings, vault, floor exercise, pommel horse, high bar and parallel bars.
I should know I can do a pirouette! A pirouette is a handstand 180. First, you do a normal handstand, but before you come down you turn one hand 180 degrees, and then the other hand 180 degrees, and when you come down, you should be in the opposite position you were in when you started. If you are a right handed person, in your handstand you will turn you right hand first, then your left. if you are a left handed person, you will turn you left hand first, then your right. It takes ALOT of practice, but I practiced constantly in my gym and at my house and I now am an expert!
The floor mat measures 40 feet by 40 feet (with a 1' border) and is usually made of carpeting covering padded foam and springs.
There are two sets of interlocking plywood, with the bottom layer having either Springs (usually 4" coiled) or foam blocks.
However, there aren't always springs in the floor, some gyms have floors made of foam and wood.
You would probably be set in a class for your age, because when I started I was 10, and they put me in the 9 and up age group.
Well, the events that are the same are: Floor Exercise, and Vault.
Women do not do the rings or pommel horse because it requires a great deal of strength. Men do not do the Uneven bars because it is hard on their anatomy (having different reproductive parts) to maneuver between bars (high bar and low bar) like the women can. So they stick to the one high bar. Men do not compete on balance beam because a mans sense of balance isn't as good as the females sense of balance. (and it takes more grace to be on the balance beam)
well i think 15 is to late because if your 11 12 or younger you get a better start but younger than 11 12 will be much better; 15 is too old to start because about when your 18 you start and 3 years is not enough;
The above would be true for ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS but not so much so for other Gymnastics sports (there are Seven competitive Gymnastic Sports) of which many are NOT Olympic sports. BUTTT.. they are amazing sports, highly contested thru out the world and have a very viable WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS event. List Olympic Sports- Trampoline, Rhythmic, along with the two you know.... Men's and Woman's Artistic. Non-Olympic: Tumble and Trampoline Gymnastics, Acrobatic Gymnastics, Group Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics.
I would Say TnT or Acro would be your best bet if your in the USA to get to a world level if you are older.
No, those were the two events Shawn Johnson did not win a medal in at the 2008 Olympics.
Country singer, Jana Kramer, who also sings the Nationwide jingle in thecommercial.
Probably not too much on the FIRST day. But some things you will be learning at the beginner level are:
for bars: back hip circles, pullovers
beam: walking in releve (on your tiptoes) forward and backward
vault: straight jumps, dive rolls onto a mat
floor: forward/backward rolls, cartwheels
Since the change of the scoring system for elite gymnastics everybody os packing their routines full of skills just to get a higher start value. With all the skills a lot more injuries are happening. If they don't change the scoring system back to a 10.0 start value gymnastics is going to go downhill and fast. So the future is going away and it is a shame for the young kids now that are trying to go elite and follow their roll models like Shown Johnson.
