Are backflips scary?

Actually there are no such scary things like that. It's all in our minds. Once a person really decided to do an act, he /she could actually do it themselves. It's just the motivation of one's person that he/she thinks you can do it. Just think positively and you can do it. But before doing such acts, remember to consult an expertized person in that field. Well more power!!

Do round or rectangular trampolines bounce higher?

The trampolines that provide the most bounce are made in Europe. These rectangular trampolines have a surface that is constructed of "string" and attached to the bed are special springs that propel the athletes from 20 to 25 feet high. Sometimes even higher. The next bounciest trampolines are American made and are very similar to the European trampoline except they are slightly smaller and not raised as high off the ground. The least bouncy are the round, home-type trampolines with a solid black propalene and much smaller springs. That these trampolines bounce much lower is a good thing since most home trampolines would produce far more injuries since the person jumping would probably go much higher than they can control. The problem arises out of the assumption most people make that since it is so easy to bounce high it must be easy to become a good bouncer. Nothing is further from the truth. Once a person loses their balance their body begins to rotate which means they will come down, but not on their feet in most cases. With the added height of the professional trampolines the novice bouncer would only rotate further off balance and fall from greater heights. There are important basic safety rules on trampolines of any type. I have witnessed kids violate each of these rules each time the get on the trampoline. Sooner or later they will fall and if they are lucky instead of getting hurt they will only gain more respect for the trampoline. The most important rule, although not an "official" rule, is never to bounce higher than you want to fall. The second most common (and most commonly broken on home tramps) is never to bounce with more than one person at a time. After that it is best to research the rules and become familiar with them. Rectangular trampolines are generally larger and have more surface area and more springs. That is the main reason they bounce far higher than round, home-style trampolines. Also, the type of surface, or bed, is important. Home trampolines have a solid surface that is flexible but not nearly as flexible as professional trampolines that make use of string beds and very advanced spring design. Because the string and springs stretch further, the bouncer is able to push the bed down further which means that the trampoline will propel them further as a result.

Beginning trampolining Not every one is looking for the best height in a trampoline especially if you're just learning the basics. Ive been doing trampolining at home now for about 4 months and my trampoline I go on wasn't expensive but is the most fun ever. I can already do front flips and back flips. If you are using your trampoline at home I would definitely recommend using an enclosure, just for that added safety which will boost your confidence massively. Very true information I have been doing gymnastics for about 6 years now, the best way to learn is at home in the comfort of your own surroundings, but i would recommend going for a rectangular trampoline when looking to be learning the basic skills.

Can you wear jewelry when doing gymnastics?

No

There is too much danger of the items getting snagged on the equipment and causing some rather major damage. Even a ring, smashing into the bar can flatten out and cut off circulation to a finger. And who wants to lose an event because their necklace smacked them in the eye? so pretty much

NO definitely not, you are not aloud to wear jewelry when doing gymnastics! that's all I can say!

Whats easier to learn first a back walk-over or front walk-over?

To do a back walk over, simply do a backbend first. (to do a back bend push your stomache out, bend your back, and look at your fingers.) BUT as your do the back bend make sure your foot goes up as you do it. Then when you come down, lift your other foot and put it down behind you. then do the same with the other. After your done that lift your hands back up and then you will do a back walk over!

How can you not be scared of doing forward rolls and do them properly?

I love this question because I have lived through it too! :) I used to be scared of doing forward rolls, but now since I can do a bunch of other stuff like aerials, round off backhandpspring, a forward roll seems easy to me! First, i'd suggest a gymnastics/tumbling place to teach you, but if your desperate, I'll try to help as much as I can. First, you have to remember when to striaghten your arms and when to curl them back up at the right time. If you do not learn this, it will be difficult. Second, you have to know how to do a sumersault. If you know how to do a sumersault, it would be much easier. Third, I'd suggest a spotter. So, striaghten your arms in the beginning all the way to where you kneel down and get ready for your bending over. that's where you need to learn how to do a sumersault. And third, have the spotter to make sure you did it straight. That's where all these things link together, these are three easy rules to learn how to do one. And one of the easiest without a gymnastics' coach.

Hope this helps!

Can you learn a backhand spring in less than a week to impress your gymnastics teacher but is there anyway that to learn at home without equipment?

First of all it depends what level you are at. If you can already do backhand springs on a trampoline, on an incline, or with spot then getting it on floor will be easier. However if you are basically starting from scratch it will be harder.

try practicing: going into your starting position for backhand spring then jumping back on to something like your bed. Also if you check youtube there may be videos that teach you how.

...i hope this helped you because i remember when i was learning my backhand spring and how hard i thought it was, but when you get it it's actually pretty easy :) GOODLUCK AND DOBN'T GIVE UP!! :)

How do you become a gymnastics champion?

There are many different levels of this. You could be a gymnastics champion by being a champion at the entry-level competition team which is usually level 4. Or you could be the world champion of gymnastics as well. It takes a lot of practice and also by having the best coaches as well. It is not something that I can sit here and tell you how to do it then you go become a champion. It is a lengthy process and takes a lot of time. You have to develop the best bar, beam, floor, vault etc. routines and skills.

If the liner has come out from the top of your in-ground pool in a couple of areas is there an easy way to tuck the liner back in and how and what do you use to tuck it back?

This has just happened to us. Our pool supply place told us to take the top rail off at the affected area, use a hair dryer to "soften" the liner to allow it to stretch over the top, and replace the top rail. We haven't done it yet--ours is only one small area--we're going to try to wait til the season end after we drain down the pool a bit.

If yours is off in several areas, I think I'd take the top rails off only one area at a time--fix one area and then move on to the next. Good Luck!

AnswerWell here is my 2 cents worth, My inground pool vinyl liner has come loose in a spot or two in the two years it has been installed, What was done was the company poured hot water in the opening then pulled the liner up and slipped the top part back in. I have found out from others that you can get a LINER LOCK strip that is tapped into the liner holding grove that will "lock" your liner in place. This runs about $40 for about a 120 foot piece, be sure that you do not stretch it when installing it, also I was told it should be installed in short (10 foot) pieces,
