Hephaestus was the Greek blacksmith of the gods. He therefore uses blacksmith's hammer, anvil, tongs. . . at some point he was portrayed holding an axe.

No. There wasn't one specifically for fire. Hephaestus was technically the god of handicrafts and metal work. He was also the smith of the gods.

Son of Zeus and Hera, Hephaestus is the blacksmith god, and sits at the high table on Olympus. He wanted to marry Athena, but she refused him. He instead married Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. He is the father of Eros(cupid).

Aphrodite and Hephaestus are 'technically' still married, although Aphrodite often cheated. Whenever she did, she always came back to Hephaestus, who welcomed her with opened arms.

It's not entirely easy to answer. But from what information that is documented today, Hephaestus tends to hold a grudge. For example, when Hera threw him from Olympus, he fell into the ocean, where 2 nereids raised him for nine years under the island of Lemnos. Hephaestus crafted a spectacular throne for Hera, which he had placed in Olympus for Hera to sit in. Hera loved the throne, but when she sat in it, the chair had a trap which imprisoned her. This shows that he held a grudge from when Hera threw him down from Olympus.

Hephaestus is pronounced hes-faes-tus.

In Roman mythology, he is the blacksmith god, or the god of the forges.
