All about crabs?

Hermit Crabs eat Fruits, Vegetables, and, if you go to Petsmart, or Petco, you can buy this thing called Hermit Crab Food the company is Zoo Med. You also need to choose the right inviroment for your crab. I'd recomend the "Crab Shack" company, they have some cool cages that come with the Misters and the food bowel and theres a sponge shaped like a star in it but, you have to spray Distilled water on it because regular water would kill the Hermit Crab. It's what they use for their water source. That's what the spray bottle is for. It has distilled water in it already. They are also very sensitive, one of mine pinched me twice, it really hurt. So, do not ever touch there pinchers. And, you sholdn't ever put you face right in theirs, it really scares them, and they might not come out of their shell for a while. When it comes to feeding, just put them in the food bowel and they will climb out then they are done. They will go to the sponge themselves if they are thirsty. The last thing is, if they start acting ill, there is not much you can do. Just kill it, and put it out of it's misery. Most vets do not know how to treat crab sicknesses. So, they will tell you the same thing. I might not be exactly right about everything here though.
