I can't see how they would help with any part of the process. They would not cover THC being released in urine from the blood stream. And they cannot absorb THC from the lipid tissue while the charcoal is merely in your stomache.

What kind? If there are obvious harmful effects on the kids (like, say, if she was snorting coke with them) then maybe, though I'd say you should talk with her about it first. However, if it's just smoking pot or something non harmful like that, then it should be of no concern granted the children are old enough to understand their actions. The last thing you want to do is drag the police in on a drug issue. Your time will be taken up as a witness and there will be a lot more pain for the family.

Generally, you should allow families to govern themselves and you should respect peoples' privacy. Only when you see true harm is being done to someone __against there will__ should you interfere.
