Dank memes were not invented. They are the most quality memes on the internet. Richard Dawkins invented the meme though so that is cool.
According to Encyclopedia Britannica, "The term meme (from the Greek mimema, meaning “imitated”) was introduced in 1976 by British evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins in his work The Selfish Gene.
Dawkins conceived of memes as the cultural parallel to biological genes and considered them, in a manner similar to “selfish” genes, as being in control of their own reproduction and thus serving their own ends. Understood in those terms, memes carry information, are replicated, and are transmitted from one person to another, and they have the ability to evolve, mutating at random and undergoing natural selection, with or without impacts on human fitness (reproduction and survival).
Within a culture, memes can take a variety of forms, such as an idea, a skill, a behavior, a phrase, or a particular fashion. The replication and transmission of a meme occurs when one person copies a unit of cultural information comprising a meme from another person. Those memes that are most successful in being copied and transmitted become the most prevalent within a culture."
What is the Bottle Cap Challenge?
The Bottle Cap Challenge is a viral trend that started sometime in June 2019. While the origins of the trend are uncertain (though The New York Times credits taekwondo champion Farabi Davletchin with jump-starting the challenge), the feat itself is fairly straightforward: Participants try to remove the cap from a bottle in extravagant ways, usually using martial-arts-style kicks.
The challenge is particularly popular on Twitter and Instagram, and most videos are accompanied by #BottleCapChallenge. It has also spread on other social media sites, notably Reddit, and numerous celebrities have participated.
So, how are people kicking the caps off of bottles? Most loosen the caps so theyâre barely on the bottle in the first place. To prevent the bottle from falling over, participants usually secure the bottle (or have a friend hold it, slightly off camera).
Hereâs action star Jason Statham successfully completing the challenge.

That was a response to musician John Mayerâs successful attempt.

Of course, this being the internet, people have been putting their own twists (no pun intended) on the feat. Mariah Carey took part in the challenge with this (somewhat dubious) video.
Challenge accepted! #bottlecapchallenge

Weâre not acoustic scientists, but a human voice canât really...do that. Some challenge attempts are less successful than others, as actor Ryan Reynolds showed.

— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) July 3, 2019Unsurprisingly, the #BottleCapChallenge hasnât come without a little internet controversy. Twitter users recently pounced on Kendall Jenner for taking the challenge at sea, depositing a plastic cap into the waterâJenner did say, however, that the cap was recovered.
Rap legend Snoop Dogg posted a profanity-laced tirade on Instagram, asking, in so many words, why people are engaging in such tomfoolery.
We have no idea, Snoop. Our advice: Donât worry about it. Either you enjoy this trend, or you donâtâand if itâs not your thing, nobodyâs forcing you to participate.

How do you make a meme on facebook?
It needs to be ORIGINAL.
Overused and dead memes commonly receive alot of hate, before proceeding to make a meme on Facebook look it up the meme your planning to make and see if it has already been created.
And remember.
Good memes get dank dreams.
I personally do. Being this is an opinon there are probably those who don't, or just don't get them (understand). If you "Know Your Meme" as I do, it means that your very familiar with the history of memes, and how they came about, what they are, how to make them etc. It can be useful tho "Know Your Meme" if you are one who creates them. I have created many memes, and it's good to know where they belong on the cheezeburger network. I've been featured over 40 times on that site including sites such as memebase, or even failblog. One of my memes "Who Needs Free Water?" was featured on ifunny even though I wasn't the one who posted it. So memes to me are a lot of fun and I enjoy creating them. You may think differently, but that's fine due to the fact that the question is an opinion.
How popular is the Kung Fu Baby meme?
The Kung Fu Baby meme is extremely popular. This meme can be found on numerous website including Quick Meme, Known Your Meme, Cheezburger, and Meme Center.
Yes it is. Nyan cat was originally just a gif that was taken onto YouTube with the japanese song "Nyan Nyan Nyan Nyan" aka "Meow." The video hit over 10 million views very quickly and made its way into human history with several parody videos, fan art, games, and other things, therefore matching the definition of what a meme is.
For more information, check out KYM's video on Nyan Cat. Very well done explaining the history:

Is imagefap a popular meme online?
Imagefap is not a meme. However, recently a hoax involving the Imagefap website had unsuspecting internet users follow a link that then presented them with a warning that they had been caught searching for underage pornography and that the authorities would be notified.
What does 'meme' mean in French?
Without an accent, it's hard to tell. "Même" means "same". "Mémé" means "grandma".
What is the difference in French between 'pareil' and 'même' or can they be used interchangeably?
"Pareil" means 'identical' and "même" means 'same (than)'. They can be used quite in the same situations.
The expression: 'c'est du pareil au même' means that despite there was talk of some change, things are in reality just the same than before.
When I was dating an abusive guy I thought I wanted out but I could never get up enough courage to actually get out so I let it continue. When we finally broke up I missed him like crazy. I think it is because you get so used to it that when you don't have it anymore you think you need it. You aren't used to being treated well so you want something you are used to. I know that's how I felt.
