Omg: Oh My God. LoL: Laugh Out Loud (recently I've heard some ppl claim it stands for Laugh Online- retarded! It's def laugh outloud) and ttyl: Talk To Ya Later. I'm surprised u don't knw the last 1... I'm 30yo & I remember using tht in 1989 when I was nine.. Back when kids wrote notes... W/ pen & paper. We used 2 doodle hearts stars simley faces... Nowadays these "faux emotion", 'robot-like" kids just text & enter an emoticon (emoticon: those lil faces w diff. expressions used 2 signify mood or tone of text. Scary... Huh??
Don't knw your age, but I knw my generation was pretty much the last 1 that was brought up the 'old way'; using pen & paper, computers weren't common in schools til we hit H.S., we preferred 2 play outside, ppl had never heard of childhood obesity & we communicated w/ each other!! ACTUAL communication.. Talking... Face 2 face. That was back when ppl/kids were FORCED to face & 2 deal w/ uncomfortable situations or intermittent social insecurities because we didn't have a cell phone, smart phone, I pad, i touch or I pod 2 bury our heads in.
