season 8 is almost the end of inuyasha until the new episode comes out which is 168 in September 2009 but in the end of the season sesshomaru comes to save rin when she gets kidnapped but the monks who hate demons save the other kid and rin but rin just sits there and waits until sesshomaru comes and when the monk asks her to come with him she was talking about how her lord which is sesshomaru will come to save her and sesshomaru heard her and soon the monks see sesshomaru and try to destroy him but sesshomarus demon powers are too much and the monks all faint while one monk tells rin not to go with the demon and soon rin runs off with sesshomaru.

The anime doesn't finish the story, it stops part way though after 7 seasons (there's about 54 volumes of manga - I guess there would be enough story left for a further 3 seasons!). However, in the epilogue of the manga (set 3 years on from the story) Rin has gone off to live with Kaede and is training to be either a miko or a healer, but Sesshomaru still visits. You don't get to see her grown up, I'm afraid, she's only around 13.

In episode 20, Kagome is wearing a yellow dress with a short sleeved jacket or something like that. She hugs Inuyasha because she noticed that he didn't come to see her in her world while he was wounded so when she finally returned, she was very worried about him.
