It depends what type of test you mean. For instance, to take a Mensa test, you have to be over ten-and-a-half to take the main test. Also, if you are under 16, you must be accompanied by an adult (over 16) for the full duration of the test. I took a Mensa test a few weeks back and I'm 13, so my dad stayed on the premises while I was tested. Unfortunately I didn't get in, but I have an IQ OF 138, which is classed as very superior on the Weschler scale. Then again, my dad took it when he was 27 and got an IQ score of 159.

Generally, an "average" IQ score falls between 90-110. A score of 76 might indicate a need for some sort of educational intervention, i. e., reading remediation, etc.

IQ typically doesnt change with age. It is 4 points above average, which is pretty smart

You need to rephrase the question to get a meaningful answer.

The average IQ is 100 and only a small percent have exactly that IQ.

Most, however, are within the range of 85-100.

i do not believe age comes into the question since how old the person is is considered in the test however, regardless an IQ of 107 is above the average, which stands at 100.

IQ is difficult to measure for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders. One method of testing might show extreme genius (which she is), while another method might show her as retarded.

IQ numbers themselves are very flawed. They are extremely limited.

If one person does well on math, reading, and logic puzzles (but knows nothing of art, dance, or interpersonal relationships), he will score very well on IQ tests.

If another person doesn't do well with math, reading, and logic puzzles (but is a brilliant dancer, a natural artist, and a friend who can sense the feelings of others) that person will do much worse on IQ tests.

Temple's special abilities would likely show up in spatial logic tests and visual memory tests. These are in some IQ tests but not others. People like Temple tend not to do terribly well on verbal tests because they give answers that make sense to them but are not what the test designer expected.

The test designer 'wants' you to answer d) goose because it is not a mammal. However, in most of the United States the answer c) monkey is perfectly valid, because it is the only one not native to the United States.

There are many different IQ tests - but an IQ of 300 is not possible on all of the common ones. The average for an IQ test is 100, with most tests categorizing an adult score of over 140 as "genius".

Albert Einstein had an IQ of 160 and Marilyn vos Savant was recorded as having an IQ of 185.

So you may wish to check the test again. The scale for results should appear in the same publication or on the same website that you took the test on - so check there.
