You need : - Either a Walther PPK or a Walther P99, - A black tailored suit that fits, - Black shoes for wearing with suits, - A black tie, - A long and wide white room, - Some card, - An artist, - A camera, - Water with red food colouring in it. First, you must watch the first five minutes of one of the James Bond films (The important part to watch is the gun barrel introduction). Then, draw what the inside of a gun barrel might look like on a large piece of card with a hole in the middle (preferably, the gun barrel swirls should turn towards the hole in the middle). Get an assistant to operate the camera. Once you have drawn the inside of the gun barrel on the card, attach the card firmly to the front of the camera [the card must be "mounted far enough forward of the lens so as to be within the sharply focused "depth of field" of the lens. That means that the card will have to be sized so as to fill the picture area at the distance at which it is placed] so that you can see the whole card from the camera (without revealing anything outside of the card) but make sure that the hole is centred in the view of the camera [centered on the axis of the lens and perpendicular to the lens axis]. Put on your suit, white shirt, black tie (make sure black tie is done up to the top), black trousers and black shoes. Load the Walther PPK or P99 with blanks (this is probably the most important part of the whole thing). Get an assistant to hold a cup of the red-coloured water above the camera lens (make sure the camera is waterproof). NOTE: Regardless of whether a camra lens is waterproof or not there are two reasons why you should not pour ANY liquid on the lens: First, the "coatings" on the front element of the lens could be damaged by the coloring, andSecond, the desired "effect" will not be achieved as anything located that close to the lens will be totally out of focus and will only blur the image. The way to achieve the desired effect is to have an "optically" flat piece of glass between the lens and the rest of the subject matter, and far enough enough forward of the lens so as to be within the focal "depth of field" of the lens so as to be in sharp focus. Then pour the liquid down the glass panel. Go into the white room and set up the camera at the end furthest from where you want to do the walk. Now, the cameraman must film you walking from one side of the room to the middle (you have to walk at the pace shown in the films and the camera must be centred on you). When you get to the middle of the room turn quickly with the gun in your hand (aiming at the camera and fire as soon as you turn, once again; make sure the gun is loaded with blanks!). The assistant holding the coloured water then pours it slowly over the camera lens glass plate (the camera must be waterproof) as soon as you hear the gun go off. The cameraman then makes the camera move like a piece of paper slowly floating towards the ground.
