You should find this information in your owners manual. Also you can get a manual for your car at an Auto Zone.
Because once it starts, the electrical has nothing to do with it. It's engine problem, not electrical. Maybe it floods with gas? also, you are not starting the engine correctly. turn the key on but don't try to engage the starter, listen to the fuel pump as it goes allthe way thru it's cycle( 5 seconds max) note- be sure and turn off radio and fan motor on ac-heater,so that you can hear the fuel pump do it's thing. when i do all this my car starts right up every time!
The gas tank on the 2006 Kia Rio holds 11.9 gal..
did you take out spark plugs to make it easier. only turn clockwise direction or the natural direction the engine runs. Remember if you separate the crankshaft from the valve cam via timing belt , then turn the crank you will probably have the piston come up and hit the valves. So it is very important to keep the valve cams in time with the crank when doing the timing belt, you could damage or bend a valve.
Only the 4 cylinder has a timing belt. On a 1983-97 replace it at 60,000 miles=On a 1998 up, replace at 120,000 miles.=
It is the Throttle Position Sensor. I also have a 2001 Kia Rio and my car has been doing this since last year. Brought it to mechanics in the city and no one could figure it out. A backyard mechanic figured it out for meMy car will idle high upon startup and then stall. It once took me 7 startups before I finally got it going. Also, it will begin to stall once you hit the accelorator just after startup. The idle is so high in my engine that the vibrations are annoying on the arms when car is stopped at lights, etc. It's very embarrassing when other passengers are in car. Neutral makes high idle go away. High idle will also "break" into normal idle occaisonally then go back into high idle when car is stopped.
Car will also violently jerk upon hitting accelorator for merging purposes.
the 2001-2005 has a 1.5Liter DOHC (dual [which mean two] over head cam)
the 2006-present has a 1.6Liter DOHC
answer
double over head cam DOHC
The owners manual recommends every 30,000 miles
What's the question? Replacing it? Removing it? repairing a rip?
Who knows...afaik, there isn't anywhere that "sells" the back bench seat yet....you may have to go directly from the dealer on that.
Now if it's just a rip/tear/stain/etc...take it to an auto upholstery place and they can get it mended/patched...

HOW TO CHANGE A 2002 KIA RIO HEADLIGHT.
It's not very hard to replace and should only take 15 minutes. (I just did it for Grandma)
First get a replacement bulb 9003/HB2.
Open the hood and locate the three bolts that hold the headlight unit in.
Use a 10mm socket and remove the bolts.
Now comes the only tricky part. You must pull the whole assembly straight out towards you with a jerk. This will release the one attaching clip that is not visible. Don't try to pry the unit out you will just scratch the car or the lens. No he-man stuff either; you don't want to rip the wires out. A good straight tug should pop it loose.
Two wires only hold the light in at this point.
Next twist counterclockwise the turn signal socket and remove the bulb.
Now push the locking tab on the other wire/ socket and pull it out.
You should have the complete assembly in your hands.
On the back is a big round cap. Notice which way it fits. Turn it counter clockwise and it will come out.
Inside is the bulb. It's held in with a spring clip. Push the clip down and out from under it's holder and swing it up and out of the way.
Pull the old bulb out. Remove the wire plug by pulling it straight out, don't twist it.
Here's a tip! Handle the new bulb only by the metal edge. Grease and even skin oil are not good for the glass of the bulb. It needs to stay clean and dry to work properly.
Replace with the new bulb, plug it in and replace the spring clip.
Before you reassemble the whole works, turn on the headlights to make sure it lights up.
Time to put it back together.
Replace the big cap and put your signal bulb back in by twisting clockwise.
Position the unit so the clip lines up and pop it back in by giving it a short bump with the heal of your hand. You should feel it lock in.
Put the three 10mm bolts back in and...
YOUR DONE!! Congratulations you just saved at least 25 bucks.
heat! heat! heat! causes a rotor to warp 95% of the time. Little to now rust buildup in the vent area of the rotor, need a good pasage for air movement. rusty and flaking rust are no good! New calipers, brake flush, new rotors, clean flat surface free of rust buildup on the spindle area. All very important.
to replace auto trans - rebuild approx $2500-3000 cdn dollars at independent
Kia Rio is a sub-compact car manufactured by South Korean Auto giant KIA. It was produced in 3 and 5 door hatchback and 4 door sedan models. It has used three different Mazda B engines namely 1.3 L B3 I4 (petrol),1.5 L B5-DE I4 (petrol), 1.6 L B6 I4 (petrol)
If the bent rim is mounted on the front you would feel the steering wheel and front end shimmy or shake depending on the severity of the bend and speed of the vehicle. If the bent rim is mounted on the rear you would feel the vehicle shaking but not in the steering wheel.
I've never worked on a KIA, but I wanted to give you just a bit of info. Its actually cheaper to buy the right or left axle, not to mention less work. Front wheel drive cars have 4 CV joints. 2 per axle. Just ask for a rebuilt Half-shaft. Good Luck
do not get a rebuilt axle, you will regret it
ON THE THROTTLE BODY, BULK HEAD SIDE.
It is on top drivers side just right of the exhaust manifold. It has one bolt and a cannon plug that has a clip that has to be removed before you can take it off
