Krakatoa

Krakatoa was formerly on the island of Krakatoa, which was destroyed in the 1883 eruption. Currently the volcano erupts from a new island, Anak Krakatau.

The Krakatoa that erupted altitude was 813 m when it was erupted. 40 years after it erupted, arise new volcano called Krakatoa Child. It's a growing mountain, grow for 4 cm every year. Today the Krakatoa Child altitude is 230 m

When Krakatoa erupted in 1883, the sulfur it injected into the atmosphere lowered global temperatures for a few years. The geography was affected in that most of the island of Krakatoa collapsed into the sea.
