Why did the tsunamis occur afterward the Krakatoa volanco explode?
The tsunami occurred after the Krakatoa volcano exploded because the eruption triggered a massive displacement of water, resulting in powerful shockwaves that created the tsunamis. The energy released by the explosion caused the surrounding water to be pushed outward, leading to the formation of destructive waves that inundated nearby coastal areas.
How are Mount Vesuvius and Mount Krakatoa similar?
Both Krakatoa and Mount Vesuvius are stratovolcanoes, also known as composite volcanoes. They are tall and steep-sided, composed of alternating layers of lava flows and ash. Both have a history of producing very large explosive eruptions with massive ash clouds including historically famous eruptions that killed thousands.

Is Krakatoa a explosive or non-explosive?
Krakatoa is a volcano that erupted. In the eruption, gases were trapped below the cap of the volcano. The explosive eruption occurred when the pressure was enough to blow the cap off of the volcano.
Even though the island of Krakatoa was destroyed in the 1883 eruption, the magma chamber deep beneath the seafloor remained intact and could still get magma from the mantle. Lava began flowing from a new vent or vents on the seafloor. The resulting rock piled up and formed a new island; Anak Krakatau. The volcano continues to erupt, and add new rock, so the island is growing.
Is Colima volcano explosive or non-explosive?
It is explosive (it is a stratovolcano). In a worst-case scenario, more than 400,000 people would have to be evacuated from the proximity of the volcano: up to 30 km / 19 mi from the cone.
Is there living anybody on the volcano Krakatoa?
No. The volcano is intermittently active, making it too dangerous and unstable for anyone to live there.
How many people live near Krakatoa?
There was about 3 000 people living near Krakatoa. When the volcano erupted, about 36 000 people died and thousands of people were injured. This is located in Indonesia. The elevation of the volcano was 813 metres high. This happened on March 31, 2014.
Was Krakatoa in 1883 more explosive than Mt St Helen's in 1980?
Yes, far more explosive. The eruption of Krakatoa was more than 10 times larger than the 1980 eruption of Mount St Helens.
How wide is a standard 2 pencil?

How much does it cost to repair a VW golf?
Depends what you broke. Volkswagens are generally cheap to fix though.
How does Krakatoa's eruption compare to an atomic bomb explosion?
First you have to realize that the yield of the explosion of an atomic bomb is not a fixed value, the US has designed and fielded pure fission atomic bombs with yields as low as about 10 tons of TNT to as high as 500 kilotons of TNT and using fusion in the design yields as high as 25 megatons were designed and fielded. The USSR designed a 100 megaton bomb (but only tested it at 50 megatons and never actually fielded it). Edward Teller proposed designing a gigaton range bomb but the design was rejected as having no military value (most of the blast of such a bomb would just go upward, just blowing all the atmosphere directly above the burst off into space). There is no theoretical limit for an atomic bomb that uses fusion to drive the fission of depleted uranium (U--238 which cannot support a neutron chain reaction but will fission from high energy fusion neutrons, and is plentiful).
The energy released from the 1883 explosion of Krakatoa has been estimated to be equal to about 200 megatons of TNT (about 4 times that of the largest atomic test ever done: the USSR's 50 megaton device mentioned above). But unlike an atomic bomb Krakatoa's fallout was not radioactive.
What year was it when Krakatoa had an eruption after the 1883 one?
Krakatoa, now known by the name of the new island, Anak Krakatau has erupted numerous times since 1883.
Was it the tsunami or the earthquake that killed the people in the explosion of mount Krakatoa?
Most people were killed by the tsunami, Earthquakes did not have a significant impact. However, a significant number of people were killed by pyroclastic flows.
When did Krakatoa erupt in 1884?
Karkatoa did not erupt in 1884. Small eruptions began on June 16 and culminated in a series of massive explosions on August 27.
