Probably not. I say 'probably' because it could be possible that Cobain did a lot of work with her on the songs and influenced her to edit and change many of them. Actually, this is quite possible, since her best CD "Live Through This" was released/made when Courtney was with Kurt. Not to say that she isn't talented, but Kurt was extremely musical and had amazing abilities to fine-tune songs. He was an artist. And Courtney probably used him for editing/advice on her music, maybe to even write a few lyrics. But no, I wouldn't go as far to say, 'Kurt wrote the entire album and she's a liar'. There's definitely Courtney in that particular album.

His marriage was in shambles (he and Courtney Love were probably going to get a divorce). He was tired of Nirvana, tired of being famous. He also was suffering extreme health problems for his stomach, which often left him doubled over in pain for days. All were a dangerous combination that led to him commit suicide.

Do you mean the distortion? part of that is the tuning but you need a distortion box to get that really heavy "grunge" sound.

Controlling the notes of the distortion is really an art, and Hendrix had far more control over the process than Cobain ever did. In general, feedback is undesirable, but if you want to play with it, turn up your amplifier very loud and hold the pickups in front of the speaker. Hold a chord, and it will feedback (somewhat) in the same key you are trying to play in.>
