Nickleback wrote the song and recorded it in 2005 on their fifth album. It was released on April 25th, 2006. It is one of the few songs the band released where they are not seen in the video for it.
According to Chad Kroeger as of November 18, 2009 he is not married and does not have kids. I caught an interview on YouTube with Chad and Ryan. They were talking about some of the "not quite child appropriate" stories and jokes Chad tells during concerts. Chad makes a comment about liking to push that "envelope" at concerts even though other band members have wives and children. He says, and I quote:
"I love that stuff. I mean, Ryan has kids and Mike has kids, but I'M NOT MARRIED AND I DON'T HAVE ANY CHILDREN. And I come up with stuff that's far worse than what you hear on the record."
Log onto You Tube and type "Nickelback 2009 Intrvw Chad and Ryan and see him say it himself! Granted that was close to 1 year ago, but people have been saying they are married for years.
On the other hand when his home was shown on an episode of Cribs, Marrianne was there in the back yard for just a few seconds and Chad introduced her as his fiance.
They may still live together with a relationship that's like a marriage for them.
I think they may be like Shakira and Antonio de la Rua who have been engaged since 2001. She casually wears her engagement ring on her third finger and has said in interviews "We are very good together for 9 years; our relationship already works as a married couple and we don't need papers for that."
1-Chad Kroeger was born in November 15, 1974 .
2-Mike Kroeger was born in June 25 , 1972 .
3-Ryan Peake was born in March 1, 1973 .
4-Daniel Adair was born in February 19, 1975 .

The last day of summer for the Northern Hemisphere is the day of the autumn equinox, or the day the sun's illusionary path in the sky is right over the equator. In the southern hemisphere, it is the last day of winter. That day varies from year to year, but is around September 22. In 2013, it is on Sunday, September 12.
