Does Percocet give an opiate positive drug screen?

no there is a special test that has to be run for oxycodone

hats the dumbest thing i ever heard of course oxys show up as opiates.

Actually, don't answer if you don't know what you are talking about. I am on a methadone clinic which tests urine constantly. I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not. Oxycontin shows up as oxycodone. If you have a script for oxy and and use heroin you cannot get over. Even though it is an opiate it metabolizes

into its own category. So it is an opiate but on the test our clinic uses it further breaks it into its own category (oxycodone).

Does a high white blood cell count specifically indicate bacterial infection?

A high blood cell count that might indicate a bacterial infection is referring to white blood cells specifically. If a bacterial infection is present in the body, the immune system releases into the blood stream additional white blood cells to respond to the threat. A high count of these additional immune cells will then indicate that there is a bacterial presence to which the body is responding.

What is estimated in complete blood count?

A complete blood count (CBC) is a fairly broad blood test that is very helpful when you're sick. Your blood is comprised of many different parts. When you're sick it affects the different parts of the blood in different ways. For example, if you have an infection, your white blood cells (your defense system) will likely be higher than normal. Or, if you have been feeling more tired than usual perhaps your red blood cells (which carry iron) are low and you need to take an iron supplement.

A steroid is a terpenoid lipid characterized by a carbon skeleton with four fused rings, generally arranged in a 6-6-6-5 fashion. Steroids vary by thefunctional groups attached to these rings and the oxidation state of the rings. Hundreds of distinct steroids are found in plants, animals, and fungi. All steroids are made in cells either from the sterol lanosterol (animals and fungi) or the sterol cycloartenol (plants). Bothsterols are derived from the cyclization of the triterpene squalene.

How much urine is needed for a urine test?

To screen with a dipstick or panel (enzyme immunoassay or other at-home type test) a very small amount is needed (like 1-2mL). They usually ask for something like 30mL or more. If they want to send it to a lab for a more through check (with a GC/MS that will identify the concentrations of all the drugs), which is almost always done for a positive test (especially if its done by a government agency), they will usually ask for 60mL. The cup is usually 120mL or so, they'll want it half full or more. Even many drug programs use labs now, so count on having 100mL to be safe. (30mL = about one fluid ounce).

Can you crush methadone into clean urine and have your urinalysis come back positive for it?

I don't think so. All the clinics I've ever been on always took blood to determine your levels. I don't think they'd go through all the extra hassle with th blood if they were able to check levels thru urine. I could be mistaken though.

Will oxycodone show up same as vicidin in urine test?

i bed to differ...from my experience oxycodone is a different class of opiate than hydrocodone. I'm taking 10mg norco and my doctor give me a urine test when i go see him to get my scripts. i once ran out of my meds and took a percocet. when the lab test came back the doctor asked me the next month that i went there if i had taken any Oxycontin or percocet? i told him i took one percocet b/c i went out of town and forgot my meds so someone gave me a percocet to get thru my back pain. they told me that i wasn't allowed to do that b/c i am only prescribed hydrocodone (norco) and oxycodone is what's in oxys and percs. if the answer was that it shows up the same then my doc would've never known i had taken that percocet b/c I'm allowed to have hydrocodone which is in vicodin. it is all an opiate but i there area different classes. percs and oxys are schedule 2 narcotics and also including demerall and morpine, hydromorphones too I'm pretty sure of.

What can cause swelling on hands and feet?

This is a very common symptom of third trimester pregnancy. Many people also experience swelling (or edema) of the hands and feet when doing long runs or hikes. See a discussion of this at www.ultrunr.com/handswel.html . The cause is not completely understood but it seems most like related to elecrolyte imbalance or centrifugal motion of the limbs.

If you took one hit of marijuana would you pass a hair drug test in 2 weeks?

Most likely yes, the 'hair test' would probably detect canabinoids, but it would probably be under the minimum positive level to be able to report it as a 'detectable' amount. The drug test companies for most civilian jobs dont test accurately enough to detect extremely small amounts of illicit frugs.

Can a woman with type a Rh negative blood have a healthy baby with type b Rh positive blood?

A baby is a person. Soooooo they have attitudes that vary each day. So some days the baby could be "negative" or "mad", but they could also be very happy.

Rh positive is dominate (R gene), Rh negative is recessive (r gene). I mom is Rr and dad is either Rr or rr, then baby could be rr giving Rh negative blood type.

How long after taking percocet will you be able to pass a random drug test?

Yes, it will

****************************

ONLY if you do not have a valid prescription for it. If you test positive for any drugs on the panel, you will get a call from a M.D. asking if you take the meds..they usually name them and then will be asked for a prescription #. Sometimes they will also ask for Pharmacy name and phone number as well. If you test positive for illegal drugs, well, ALL of us know the answer to that one.

If you can provide all of the information. the Employer will be given a report for you as Negative on drug use.

If a mother has a blood type a plus and the father has the blood type a- can the offspring have o negative blood?

Yes....if both parents are carriers of type "O" then they have a 25% chance of having a child with type "O" blood type (O is a recessive trait). The child would have to receive the recessive "O" from both parents. Regarding the Rh factor. If mom is a carrier of the negative Rh factor, then there is a 50% chance that the offspring may carry the Rh negative factor. Hope this helps...
