In the early years, he was trained in Europe. Armstrong lived and trained in Nice on the French Riviera (also known as "Côte d'Azur" of France.

Later, when he was fed up with the French attitude towards him and with a need to be with family in the United States, he moved back to Austin, Texas. He also held spring training camps in LA in the Sierras, and Austin, Texas.

Now, he fully resides in the United States.

Also, every year, he does a recon of the Tour de France stages (important ones for the GC) in April/May (climbing stages and Time Trials) with 1 week in the Alps 1 in Pyrenees.

American cancer survivor Lance Armstrong set a record when he won 7 Tours de France, from 1999-2005.

He has now been stripped of his titles and the record, due to the compelling evidence and his eventual confession to the systematic use of illegal performance enhancing drugs.

he origanlly went to Dallas Elementry school and had to move because of his parents splitting up so he then went to Plano Elementry school Texas and found it very hard ot fit in Plano being the Footy crazy twn and lance not knowing anything about football.

Neil Alden Armstrong graduated from Purdue University in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering. He then received a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California in 1970.

He was diagnosed with cancer on october 2,1996 when he was 25 years old.

Lance Armstrong doesn't generally buy his own bicycles. This is because most of the time he races with a team, and the team supplies the bikes. He probably has cycles given to him by the teams, too. Note that Lance and his teammates run different bikes on different legs of a big race like The Tour. Same brand, but different types. Again, the team supplies them. Part of a cycling team's contract is sponsorship, and different cycling companies will vie for the opportunity to supply the machines on which Lance and his teammates will ride. You can understand why, too. If you built bikes, it would be cool if Lance was wearing a yellow jersey at the end of The Tour and he rode your units through the race. It would translate into more dollars for you, too. If you're curious about the cost of the bikes he rides, the best bet is to identify the bike and the groupo and wheels he's running and then price them. With a little research, you should be able to pull this up. A local bike shop with hard core followers might already be able to tell you what Lance is running, and be able to ball park the costs. Certainly the team is not shy about advertising the bikes it is putting under its riders.

Reports indicate that a 1999 test revealed EPO in Armstrong's system. However, since then he's not tested positive for steroids. To be fair to Armstrong, he was legally prescribed EPO while recovering from Cancer and trace amounts may have been present in his system when he returned to professional cycling.

There is strong evidence to suggest that he's not nearly as clean as he claims to be. Read about Dr. Michelle Ferrari. The facts remain that Lance Armstrong never tested positive during all his Tour de France wins for any type of illegal substance. Moreover, race leaders like Armstrong are scrutinized and tested far more than others in the sport. It is very unlikely he could have been cheating and not found out during his entire profesional career in the spotlight. It can be argued there is strong evidence to suggest that Lance Armstrong was clean and his phenomenal ability comes from good genetics, an early development in triathelons and cycling combined with a stricter than usually training and diet regimine. All "evidence" he doped comes from conjecture and unreliable testimony.

LA has undobtedly won plenty of races during his career, but he is most known for his wins in the Tour de France. He's been stripped of his titles though, due to having been found using illegal performanve enchancing drugs.

There are two answers; 1 or zero. During the race he won the second to last stage, which was an individual tme trial. Zero is the other option as he was later stripped of his Tour victories after admitting to using PEDs.

He currently runs marathons, but he is in the Tour De France now

Lance Armstrong is a world wide known professional cyclist. He won the Tour de France seven times in a row. He unfortunately got testicular cancer that spread to his lungs and brain. He had less than a 50/50 chance on surving. He overcame very prestigious chemotherapy and recovered safely. He got right back to cycling. And made a foundation it called the Lance Armstrong FOundation or something.
