1997 mustang airbag code 52?

I've looked threw the web cause I havethe same prob, and all I seem to is

This code will appear anytime the Air Bag fuse is blown or removed, or if the battery voltage falls below 8vdc.

1) Locate the connector below the glovebox, with a Black wire and a Tan wire with a Red tracer.

2) Turn the ignition on, and watch for a Code 52 to be flashed out.

3) After it has flashed out once, connect the two wires in the connector with a jumper (a paperclip works well) for 5 seconds.

4) The Air Bag Controller will then beep 5 times.

5) The code is now cleared out of the system.

Let me know if it works for you.

For the 5.0 V-8 model, it is on the driver's side halfway down the engine block. It should be roughly even with the wheel/tire, and closer to the side of the car than the upper intake on the driver's side.

A Mustang is worth over £20,000!

i personally say, in us dollars it can be a wide variety of prices. I currently own a 2009 v6 mustang and bought it brand new for $16000. You can get a v6 for cheap now, v8s or gt's are more expensive though. You could get a 2005 for probably $12000 with very low miles. Just search on cars.com or autotrader.com r craigslist.com or yahoo's automotive

Odds are the vehicle is used for frequent short trips. The engine never heats up hot enough to burn off excess moisture caused by condensation in the crankcase. This is generally not a cause for concern.

Where is the alarm brain for a 1997 mustang?

If your vehicle came from the factory with a keyless entry (PATS) system, the "brain" is located in the trunk, drivers side, behind the carpeting on the side of the rear -left quarter panel. Just pop the trunk and pull the carpeting and you'll find it mid way in the trunk mounted on the inside of the quarter panel. However, if you opted to add an alarm at the dealership and it wasn't installed at the factory., it would technically be considered aftermarket. The brain for this is located under, and tucked inside the dash partially, beneath the steering wheel. The best way to view it is to try to lay on your back on the drivers side floor and look upwards under the dash, behind the steering wheel. It will be a black box with a couple of harnesses coming out of it. It will have the Ford logo printed on it. You can tell whether you have a factory or dealer installed after-market system by taking note of whether or not:

Your car has a siren. (It looks like a bullhorn or megaphone and is mounted in the engine compartment).

Your car has a red blinking light that looks like it was added, somewhere in the dash or is visible indicating armed vehicle.

If the two above items are preset, you have an after market system.

If your headlights flash and your horn sounds off during an alarm trigger, you have a factory alarm setup. Hope this helps.

Why does the catalytic co nverters on a 1989 ford mustang turn red?

There are two main possible answers to this question. The purpose of the Catalytic converter is to burn excess fuel before entering the atmosphere, it does this through a honey comb that gets hot. If the car is running rich (Performance related, Air cleaner dirty, Injectors warn or ??) can cause the honey comb to melt and plug which in-turn will cause it to glow red. Secondly, if the car is used on very short runs, the cat will collect carbon, plug up and glow. Usually, if the cat is glowing noticeably red, you should notice power loss especially at high speeds. Some can be taken apart and cleaned, others have to be replaced.

Why does the in-tank fuel pump of my 1990 Mustang GT continually hum loudly while the motor is running?

that means it is working properly... nothing to worry about....when you no longer hear the humming sound its time for a new pump

91 mustang 5.0 fuel pump location?

the fuel pump is on the right top side of the fuel tank (if your standing behind the car facing it)..you need to drop the tank and disconnect the fuel lines and sending unit wires to get access to it..the tank has 2 bolts that hold the gas tank straps on. just remove those and slide the tank to the right to clear the fuel filler tube. make sure you have a floor jack with a 2x4 to support the tank as you lower it and before you remove the 2 straps..
