What is the Sunday before Palm Sunday called?
In the Roman Catholic Church, before 1960 the Fifth Sunday of Lent was called Passion Sunday because the (lengthy) Passion of the Lord was read at Mass as the Gospel reading. In 1960, Blessed Pope John XXIII changed the name of Passion Sunday to "First Sunday of Passion-tide," to conform to what Pope Pius XII had done earlier--he had changed the name of Palm Sunday to "Second Sunday of Passion-tide, or Palm Sunday." That lasted until 1969 when Pope Paul VI abolished Passion-tide (as a sort of sub-season of Lent), so as of right now the Sunday before Palm Sunday is officially known as the Fifth Sunday of Lent.
But--I suspect many people would know what you are talking about when you say "Passion Sunday", particularly old-fashioned or Traditional Roman Catholics and very high-church Episcopalians
What did people shout out on palm Sunday?
The words used, from Psalm 118, the psalm normally used at the Sukkoth festival (Mark 11:9): "And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord."
John Shelby Spong (Jesus for the NonReligious) says that the use of the words and the context of leafy branches strewn along the way, show that Mark had taken the Sukkoth traditions and transferred them from autumn to the Passover season for the procession story.

What did Jesus do on the Monday of Holy Week?
He was arrested
Another Answer:
In Jewish tradition which is reflected in the Scripture, there are no days called 'Thursday' (5th day of week) which is now part of the modern Julian calendar.
That being said, Jesus just finished the Passover meal and was praying in the Garden when He was arrested. He was tried and crucified on the Passover daylight portion (Jewish days go from sunset to sunset unlike our traditional day).
Considering all the clues in Scripture, many scholars have determined that the Passover for the year 31 AD was on a Wednesday. This fully considers that Jesus ministered for 3 Passovers and was crucified on the 4th. He gave only one sign of His Messiahship - that of Jonah being 3 days and nights in the belly of the great fish. He arose just before sunset, exactly 72 hours after He was buried, and was seen in the darkness of the 1st day of the week - our tradition is Sunday - the day He ascended to the Father as the 'Wave Sheath' offering for all of mankind (pictured in the Feast of Unleavened Bread).
Recapping, He was crucified and buried on Wednesday, just before the start of the Feast of Unleavened Bread that began at sunset. Three nights and three days later, He arose on the Sabbath - Saturday. So on the whole of Thursday, He was in the tomb.

Why can you not eat meat on Good Friday?
Answer 2
The above answer is not true for all Christians. Catholics are quite strict about rules, but the Reformation hundreds of years ago meant that Protestant churches did not need to enforce such rules any longer. There are no limits at all to what people can eat on Good Friday, but it is a matter of personal choice.
According to my religion, Good Friday is the day Jesus died on the cross.
Some rules that I personally follow are (Some might be too drastic for certain people):
However, there are no set rules for Good Friday.
What years did Good Friday fall on April 11?
AHA !!
Rather than a Biblical conundrum, this is looking like one of those quiz questions that always gets a groan from the assembled quizzers when the answer is revealed. The 'Good Friday' referred to is actually the name of a racehorse. I don't know when or even if the horse had a fall on a Saturday but it certainly fell on Boxing Day, the 26th December in 1899 during a race at Wolverhampton, England. Boxing Day was actually on a Tuesday in 1899 but assuming it is the same horse its fall on a Saturday must be within just a few years either side of 1899 as a horse's racing career is not a particularly long one.
I believe there is a similar question something along the lines of 'when did midsummer land on easter day' - a similar event where one horse landed on top of another that had already fallen after a jump during a race - I cant remember the actual names but you get the idea.
When is the next time Good Friday will fall on April 15?
As of 2015, Good Friday last fell on the 15th of April in 1960.
When does 12 April fall on palm Sunday?
Palm Sunday has fallen on April 1 three times in the past century, nine times in the past three centuries.

Why does Lent begin on Ash Wednesday?
Lent is a preparatory season which Catholics use to prepare their souls for the solemnity of our Lord's Passion, suffering and death and His Glorious resurrection at Easter. It is the most important celebration of the liturgical year as it defines the very meaning of the central teaching of Christianity: that Christ died on a cross to save us from our sins and to lead us into Eternal Life with God. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of this season.

Does Sunday count as part of Lent?
Technically, Sundays are not part of the 40 days of Lent. If you count from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday (including those days) you will come up with over 40 days. We come up with 40 days by excluding the Sundays.
It is more widely known that we are not supposed to fast on Feast Days, since they are days of rejoicing and Jesus said "'Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast'" (Mark 2:19). However, few people know that Sundays are Feast Days.
According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church,
"2174 Jesus rose from the dead "on the first day of the week."Because it is the "first day," the day of Christ's Resurrection recalls the first creation. Because it is the "eighth day" following the sabbath, it symbolizes the new creation ushered in by Christ's Resurrection. For Christians it has become the first of all days, the first of all feasts, the Lord's Day (he kuriake hemera, dies dominica) Sunday."
Also, "2177 The Sunday celebration of the Lord's Day and his Eucharist is at the heart of the Church's life. 'Sunday is the day on which the paschal mystery is celebrated in light of the apostolic tradition and is to be observed as the foremost holy day of obligation in the universal Church.'
'Also to be observed are the day of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Epiphany, the Ascension of Christ, the feast of the Body and Blood of Christi, the feast of Mary the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, her Assumption, the feast of Saint Joseph, the feast of the Apostles Saints Peter and Paul, and the feast of All Saints.'"
Sunday is also when we are supposed to go to the Wedding Feast of the Lamb (aka Mass). True, we can go to daily Mass, but we are only obliged to go on Sunday.
Each Sunday is supposed to be like a "mini-Easter," in that we are rejoicing in Christ's Resurrection, and going to Mass. Every Sunday is the Lord's Day. Therefore, we are supposed to "enjoy adequate rest and leisure to cultivate their familial, cultural, social, and religious lives" (CCC 2184). Likewise, every Friday should be like a "mini-Good Friday" where we fast and sacrifice to remember what Christ did for us.

What are the simillarities of yom kippur lent and Ramadan?
The most obvious similarity is that all three involve fasting, abstaining from certain types of food or from eating at certain times. During Yom Kippur, Jews fast for 25 hours; during Lent Christians will not eat milk, eggs and other foods (which are used up to make pancakes the day before Lent begins) - some Christians abstain from all animal products during this period, while others fast for a portion of it and during Ramadan Muslims maintain a strict fast - during which nothing must pass the lips, effectively banning them from drinking and smoking too - between dawn and nightfall.
Another similarity - the one I suspect the question refers to if it forms a part of your school homework - is that all three festivals focus on repentance, self-cleansing and absolving oneself in the eyes of G-d. Jews spend the ten days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur putting right any sins they have committed in the previous year and taking steps to better themselves so that they will not commit those sins again, then spend Yom Kippur deep in prayer so that G-d will forgive them; Christians, through prayer, charity, penitance and self-denial, solmnly prepare themseves spirtiually for Easter when they remember the death and rebirth of Christ and Muslims use Ramadan as an opportunity to focus on enlightenment and spiritual cleansing, taking a step back from their everyday lives in order to strengthen the link between themselves and Allah.
