If your engin light also is on, you need new oxigen sensors!
Yes you can make it a reconditioned title by having the repairs whether mechanical or body work done. having it inspected and following the regular title procedures, and you will have yourself a blue reconditioned title which only reduces the price a few hundred to possibly even a thousand retail book value. But none the less can be operated on the streets, get insured, and resale your clear title vehicle.
Your heater core is going bad, or there is air in the system. Happened to me had to replace heater core. I did it myself and it was a little bit of a pain. Took four hours.
Its a valet key because it does not allow access to the trunk and glove box.

Octane, technically speaking, is the number of octane atoms in a molecule of gasoline. Gasoline ( we are leaving out the ethanol component's effect ) is a mixture of several hydrocarbons including heptane, benzine, and others. The number of octane atoms ( or its equivalent in the case of ethanol blends ) in the gasoline give it the number you see at the pump. It is a measure of gasoline's ease or resistance to burning when air and heat are present. High performance engines use high octane gasoline because they can compress the fuel more before igniting the mixture creating more power; if lower octane fuel is used, the knock sensors detect this and retard the timing to avoid engine damage which is why your mileage drops. Conversely, fuel mileage does not increase by burning a higher octane than needed; the higher octane's ability to resist ignition works against you and incomplete fuel combustion can result. The unburned fuel is dumped into the catalytic converters where it is burned, fouls the catalyst, and can cause failure of the converters.
how do you change the high mounted stop light on a lexus Is300?
In the passenger side right kick panel next to the speaker.

The gas tank on the 2009 Lexus IS-250 holds 17.1 gal..
The 2008 Lexus IS-250 has rear wheel drive.
$300labor + 250 for material for 50 ft. of 2ft wide soffit.... $550 = 50 ft.
In the rear cargo area, lift the handle to reveal the tire jack, etc. You will see a rectangular access panel on the right hand side sort of facing the driver seat. Remove the panel, and inside you will see a DVD slot. Above it is a tab that needs to be slid toward the left which opens the DVD door and ejects the disc. I believe the car needs to be in ACC or ON to do this. Then you slip in the new DVD and you are good to go.
Trouble code P0430 means: Catalyst Efficiency Below Normal (Bank 2)
For the six cylinder Solara, premium fuel is recommended. The four cylinder specifies regular. That said, you 'can' run regular (87 octane ron/mon) in the six cylinder. The engine control computer will detect any pre-ignition that might be caused by the lower octane fuel and will retard timing or make other adjustments until it stops. There's a price for this. Retarded timing generally means less power and higher fuel consumption so you need to carefully weigh whether you're actually saving money by using slightly cheaper fuel. Cheers
