1) Turn the car on but do not start the engine, keep foot off brake. Cycle your trip reset button until it reads ODO. Turn ignition back off and wait a few seconds.
2) Make sure seatbelt is not fastened.
3) Turn the ignition back on, but do not start the car, keep foot off brake. As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset button and do a long 12 second count.
4) Keep your finger on the trip reset button! Fasten your seat belt. As soon as you fasten the seat belt you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off of the trip reset button and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". Turn off ignition and you are done.

How do you remove a 2001 Lexus RX300 master switch - the driver-side window control panel?
Use a screwdriver with tape over the tip to release the clip under the bottom of the wood trim bezel. Pull out and detach the wiring harness. The switch has a printed circuit board inside. Turn the unit face down if you want to open it up and see the "innards." Remove the 3 larger screws and the top/bottom will then come apart. Remove the 4 smaller screws to access the circuit board. Be careful to not dump out the plastic pistons (look like stubby nails) since they have nothing to hold them in if you tip the button portion over. I switched some of the pistons around to see if that would help my passenger front window ops. Now, it will go down but not up unless you run it all the way down first. Better than "fighting" with it for 10 minutes to get it back up.

Do they not open at all or do they just not open from those doors, but open from the driver door? If they open from the driver door but not the other doors, there is a window lock that could be engaged. If they just don't open at all, it could be that the motors are bad, or it could have bad wiring. It could be the switches are bad or not hooked up right.
