I saw the same bid on Ebay!! ....only to find another bid for just $14.99. I jumped on it right when I saw it. The original owners made it clear to me that they purchased it at the Angels Stadium store back in 79'. So if you read what I read, that they were never sold to the public and only made exclusively for Angel players....I would have to say not true.
