There is a new App Store where you can buy the latest apps and software for low prices.Or you could by from big fish games or download from the Internet, just make shore that they are on the mac-book section.

The easiest way to access it on OS X Mavericks is to pinch with thumb and three fingers to expose the launch pad. You should see the calculator on the first page if you haven't moved anything around.

Because, Microsoft Word is not an Apple program (obviously because of the "Microsoft"), it does not come pre-installed on Mac product. Just like Windows you have to get either a free or commercial virus/malware program and install it. There aren't any virus problems YET, but there are getting to be a few malware, etc., out there for the Mac so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a remover.

If you don't really browse unknown web sites and have a lot of people e-mailing you "funny pictures" and such then you should be fine, just use common sense.

You cannot bypass the "Firmware" password, you HAVE to erase and reinstall the OS if you forgot the "Firmware" password.

In default settings, it will be on your dock. The icon is a guitar. If it was removed from your dock, search for it in the finder.

This is an opinion, but in my opinion yes, but here are some facts

Cons: Trackpad

iMac

Pros: Mouse

Cons: Not portable

Macbooks are good in that it appeals to the consumer. When you buy a macbook, you are paying for asthetics. If you were to buy a PC for the same price as a macbook, you could get a PC with 2x better specifications.

One brief touch of the power button will put your iMac to sleep. Wake it the same way.

Also, you can select SLEEP under the APPLE Menu at the top left of your screen.

On some models, you can use the keyboard combo of COMMAND (Apple key) OPTION and EJECT (the key to eject a CD/DVD.

The black MacBooks are no longer produced and so are not available from an Apple store.

Simple

Go to "system preferences" located in the apple () in the top corner of the screen

Then click on Accounts

Then click change password

Change your password to the same thing if you want then type your password hint in as well.

On older MacBooks the NumLock key was on the F6 key. On later models Apple removed the NumLock key. If you have a lot of numbers to enter the addition of a separate USB Number Pad would probably help.

100 7's is 100. 10 7's is 70 that leaves 23 (793-700-70) 7x3-21, so 113 times, with 2 left over ("113 remainder 2")

the back part on most ipods usually get scratched the most if u dont use a cover and most of them are metallic except the new nano and shuffle so if u want the back metallic section shiny again u have to find a business that can buff the scratches off. I dont know about scratches on the plastic colored parts though.

I'm not sure that it's gone completely from your system. Try looking through the finder to see where the file for iphoto could be.

If you don't have any luck, you can probably look up the download on google. It's most likely free.

First, open up what ever browser you are using(safari,firefox or chrome).Now on the top left corner you will see the name of your browser.Click it, then click the word"Preferences".Click that.You will then see a text box with the name of your current homepage.Delete it, and change it to www.google.com.

1. Hold your power button down for 7 seconds(located on the top right of your keyboard)

2. A screen will appear saying "restart or shut down."

3. Select restart then you will have another screen appear saying "open last website/applications"

4. Select NO and then you should've rebooted your MacBook Pro!
