This of course depends on why you buy it (and what price you get!). A second hand MacBook pro is almost never worth it, as it's mostly not very much cheaper than the current low end model - which it at best will match - plus you will not get the warranty and of course risk hidden damages.

A new MacBook pro might however be of interest to you. You will buy into the Apple cult and as a member of that you will feel air of exclusive design and of being someone special. You will have paid more for the hardware specs than you would if you bought a generic laptop with equivalent specs, but you will have a piece of hardware with parts that are thoroughly integrated. Or at least is should to be. Be ware though, that the cult and exclusivity is rapidly getting tarnished, since Apple has been tightening the control of what software is being used and by whom! All though this might be considered a side effect of App Store and iCloud it is still a fact, a growing concern and certainly a reason to think twice.

This has happened to me before. If the disc has ejected (or has been put in) and hasn't actually come out, I normally grab some tweezers and carefully pull the disc out. Tilting the computer sometimes helps too.

Just turn the WiFi on and then connect to a network. To turn it on click the WiFi icon on the top right of the screen and then click Turn WiFi On. Fix it, no. Replace it, probably if it isn't too old, but it would be very expensive.

If you do a search online for computer repair's you should find a few that can do it. Or maybe locally if you live in a fairly large city.

Another option is if it's too old to justify spending too much money on it, just hook up an external monitor to it. You now have a desktop computer.

It's no longer mobile but at least you can still use it.

Any standard USB Flash/Thumb drive will work with the MacBook Pro. The "best" will depend upon the specific needs of the individual user.

This will depend on what you use your MacBook Pro for. If you are running a specific program that requires 2.6Ghz processor rather than a 2.5Ghz processor, then by all means upgrading to the 2.6Ghz model is the way. However, if you simply run multiple programs at once that consume large amounts of memory, then upgrading your RAM would be the best option; it's not only cheaper than upgrading your processor but it also makes your MacBook Pro run more smoothly.

You can bypass a User accounts password but not an administrators.

Open System Preferences. Then click Users & Groups. Make sure you unlock the lock so you can make changes. Control click your user name on the left and then click Advanced Options that will come up. Now you can change your user name. Click OK, then lock the lock back so no one can make changes.

If you mean a Windows .png file then it should already have translators for it built in. If it doesn't then you can right click (Option click) on the file and chose a program from the list.

Open System Preferences Click on the Accounts menu On the bottom, click the '+' sign and add in the details required Follow the instructions, and Voila!
