Instruction for the computer to do something

There are several options for installing Windows on a Mac. Apple provides Boot Camp with every Mac. The Boot Camp Assistant can be found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder and will talk you through the process.

Other options include running Windows within a window on your Mac's desktop using software such as Parallels or Fusion. (See links below)

Hold your Finger down on the Image. The option to "Save Image" will appear. Click on 'Save Image,' and the picture will be saved to your camera roll.

They are now made in aluminum, so the newer ones are silverish, although the older ones are either black or white, the one I'm using now is black. You can also buy covers for them to get new colors, lol.

This honestly depends on what you're going to use it for. It also has to do with opinion. If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the iPad.

Apple's iMac, Macbook, and Macbook Pro lines of computers do have built-in iSight webcams, which have been praised for their image quality. Use SKYPE to delete unwanted contacts.

On the left panel, click "CONTACTS."

Click the name of the contact to delete.

On the TOP MENU, under Contacts, click "Delete Contact."

Click on "Remove Contact."

Click the Apple menu at the top left of the screen;

Are you looking for the Ethernet address or the wireless address?

In the right panel, under the 'Ethernet' section, you will see the Ethernet MAC address listed, or

in the right panel, under the 'airport' section, you will find the Airport MAC address.

Try holding down the option key after pushing the power button.

It is usually called the Spinning Beach Ball Of Death. It means that an application is not responding. You can either -

Click and hold on the application's icon in the dock and a menu will pop up with the option to Force Quit. Select that and the application should quit; if not try selecting it again and it will often quit the second time

or

Hold down the three keys Command (cmd), Option (alt) and Escape (esc) together. This will show a Force Quit menu window. Select the offending application from the list of running applications and click the Force Quit button. Click on the Red close window button to dismiss the window.

Other than that you may see the SBBOD if the Mac is running slow for some reason - loading a large video or something like that - but it should clear once it has caught up with itself.

Another option to try is a good Disk Utility for the Mac. If you optimize your hard drive, it should help speed up your Mac and stop the rainbow beach ball from re-appearing. See sources and related links.

As with any 3rd party app always go to the companys web site to update programs NOT from a site who says "your out of date and click here to update it". Go to Adobe's web site and download it. It should default to the download area or folder you set up and then just click on it. It may be a .zip or more likely a .dmg file, just click on it. Make sure you close any web browsers before you install it.

No, you cannot use an Air charger with a Macbook Pro. It has a different power rating (watts). New Macbook Pros and Airs also feature a different, smaller connector for power (Magsafe 2).

Image Capture allows transfer of files in a digital camera to a folder on your hard drive without the use of iPhoto.

This is entirely dependent on the year of the MacBook. The new 13" MacBook Pro Retina keyboard is not the same as the regular 13" MacBook Pro. You also wouldn't be able to interchange a keyboard from the older 13" MacBook models (white MacBooks) with a recent 13" model.

No only Imovie. If you want your macbook to come installed with final cut pro then you have to order it online and pay for final cut pro separately. Then when your computer is shipped it will be shipped with a copy of final cut pro.

Most do, but the Macbook pro with Retina Display does not.

Get the one that suits your needs. For portability get a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. For a desktop and large screen, get the iMac. If you have a nice computer monitor, check out the Mac Mini. It is a real computer that is very small.

Your screen is likely sleeping to save a little battery life while it's not in use. To adjust this setting, open Energy Saver in your System Preferences. Additionally, on a laptop, there is usually an option for different settings if the laptop is plugged in to the wall using its power cord and adapter.

In System Preferences select Displays and then switch the Colors menu from Millions to Thousands which will then limit your display to 16 Bit color.
