Where is Old Palos mine located?

In western Jefferson County, AL between Porter Road, Flat Top Road, and Union Grove Road. This area has been clear cut and heavily strip mined in the last few years leading to the disappearance of several grave yards and burial sites. The right of way along Porter Road is still posted NoTrespassing, No Hunting,-Palos LLC. and there are numerous high points from which to observe the area thru telescope, or binoculars. I have been told several times that the mine site has a cemetery across from it that the dead from the explosion in the early nineteen hundreds are buried. This area is still sparsely populated and undeveloped, with very few acceptable roads ( Porter Road is in such poor condition it is hard to belive it is a county maintained road ), so plan on going slow, and traveling in a pickup or SUV when searching the area.

How many crystal skulls were found in Manitoba?

The provenance of the Crystal Skulls remains unknown but were not of Mayan or Aztec origin. They were created in Europe and the lore associated with them was often created by their owners. None is known as a Manitoba discovery and only the Smithsonian Crystal Skull has an alleged first sighting recorded.

The Mitchell-Hedges skull is alleged to have been discovered in 1924 in Honduras in 1924 by Anna Le Gullion Mitchell. There is no record of her having ever been at that dig and there are clear signs mechanical carving techniques that were not available before the 1880s. It is the source of the skull of doom legends and was toured like a sideshow freak with a better audience then the county fair.

The British Museum skull appeared in 1881 and was purchased at auction by Tiffany and Company and sold to the British Museum at cost in 1897. The museum catalog lists it as "European, 19th century, not authentic" and as having been carved with moodern tools.

The Paris skull includes a drilled hole above the nose to the back of the skull and is dated to the 18th or 19th century.

The Smithsonian skull first appeared there anonymously in 1992 and has been proven to have carborundum used in the carving again voids the Mayan and Aztec origin since that material was not created until 1892. Only this skull could have surfaced in Manitoba.

There were never 13 Crystal Skulls,. That is an urban legend.

Is under glow legal in Manitoba for motorcycles?

In Manitoba, underglow lights on motorcycles are generally not legal if they are used in a way that could distract other drivers or create confusion. The law prohibits the use of certain colored lights that could be mistaken for emergency vehicles. However, if the lights are used in a manner that complies with regulations—such as being non-flashing and not in prohibited colors—they may be permissible. It's advisable to check with local authorities or the Manitoba Public Insurance for specific regulations.
