You can mix marijuana with most every medication/drug, including Xanax. In fact, I do not know of any drugs that are dangerous to take with marijuana. Marijuana is neither a stimulant nor a depressant; it is a mild hallucinogen, and so it doesn't affect your heart or central nervous system the way other drugs (like speed, cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, Ecstasy, etc. do).

for a casual user marijuana will generally only be detectable for up to 3-5 days. for a habitual user, marijuana may be detectable for up to 30 days. A lot depends on the method used for testing. For instance, in urine testing (because that's the most common method), marijuana is detectable 24hrs AFTER consumed and then for another 3-5 days. Marijuana needs time to metabolize, so that's why it takes 24hrs to show up. Also a lot depends on the cut-off level of the test. A test with a cut-off of 50ng (nano-grams) will be less sensitive than a 30ng test.

There is nothing you can do to speed up the detection time. Detox kits will say they clean out your system, but they won't. They will certainly clean out your wallet though. Also drinking lots of water won't clean out your system either, all that will do is dilute your urine so you may pass (but again.. depends on the cut-off level of the test). The only thing you really can do, is allow time to pass, and you will be clean.

You always hear the 30 day stories, and those are really only relevant to habitual users. One must smoke daily for extended periods of time for it to take 30 days to clean out your system. Everyone is different, but if you're concerned, go to your local pharmacy (Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens etc) and purchase an at home drug test. They usually cost about $15, and have a cut-off of 50ng (which is the standard cut-off level for 90% of urine testing).

DO NOT TRY TO MANIPULATE YOUR URINE, many urine cups have whats called an adulterant strip, and will detect the presence of bleach or other contaminants that used to help beat a urine test. You will be caught, and required to give another sample.

How old is the individual?

Where was the crime committed?

What state was the crime committed in?

The amount of marijuana in possession?

The first marijuana law found so far was a 1905 El Paso, Texas law. It, and most of the other laws in the southwest that followed, was motivated by racial prejudice against Mexican immigrants. These laws had nothing to do with the actual effects of the marijuana. In fact, cannabis in the form of hemp was a common crop in many of these states, and tinctures of cannabis were included in hundreds of common medicines. As far as who was involved, two people get primary credit. One is Harry Anslinger, who actively promoted "Reefer Madness" because he knew the marijuana laws were unenforceable. Therefore, he reasoned that the only possible method was to scare people so badly that they would never touch it. His plan worked for a while.

The second person involved is Dr. James C. Munch of Temple University. There were only two doctors who testified for the congressional hearings. One was the representative of the American Medical Association. He said that there was no evidence that marijuana was a dangerous drug. The committee basically told him to shut up and leave.

Dr. Munch's sole claim to fame was that he had injected some extract of cannabis directly into the brains of 300 dogs, and two of them had died. When they asked him what he concluded from that, he said he didn't know. However, he was the only doctor in the US who agreed that marijuana should be illegal, so his testimony was accepted, and he later became the US Official Expert on Marihuana. While serving in that capacity, he also testified in court, under oath, that marijuana would make your fangs grow six inches long and drip with blood and, when he tried it, it turned him into a bat.

Anslinger served as director of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics from 1930-1962. Dr. Munch served as US Official Expert on Marihuana from 1938-1962.

These things may not clean a system out of the chemicals that are in your system from the use of this drug. Only time and non-use will clean your system of drugs like this. Pregnant or not.

Agreed....Look I'm a stoner so I can sympathize but you really really shouldn't be smoking anything if your pregnant.. your unborn child has to process everything you put into your body. I can't imagine its good for your fetus to be getting high...not to mention the slue of problems it could potentially cause after birth.

Narcotic agents will sell you "dumbed-down" versions of drugs. Basically a version of the drug that has been altered in a lab to make it very difficult for you to experience a "high".

No it is not legal. However when I have been stopped and the cops find marijuana on me. All they do you issue you a citation. You get a ticket and pay a fine. I'm not talking about if you have large amounts, but if you have a smaller personal bag, like a quarter or so, then they just take your weed, and write you a ticket and send you on your way. (However if you are being a total jerk to the officer, I am sure he could arrest you. Most the time it is just a ticket)

There is no magic "fast" way to get clean. Drugs stay in the body for a certain amount of time no matter what sort of "cleansing" crap you may waste your money on. They're just laxatives anyway, to make you have a bowel movement or urinate more - they don't do anything to "clean" out drugs.
